And what money can they use to build this battery manufacturing plant. Auto industry is getting the worst out of this global economic problem. This is a good idea but I don't know who will fund this campaign.

All industry are always doing transformation. Automotive industry always make new innovation. Example of this are hybrids and electric cars. Technology is continuously improving and we can't stop.

Asia cars survive because they got cheap cars. They are not build for that much pressure not like US autos. Big 3 are the number sellers of trucks and off road vehicles. If they sell those truck cheap they will survive too.

That will be interesting. If GM have this I think people will dig this Chevrolet Volt. Also having that battery will make volt more powerful.

GM is thinking good. This viral marketing is kinda better for them right now since they have financial problem. Going mostly to web 2.0 will lessen their expenses. Hopefully this pontiac vibe sells to GM can survive.

Last year, GM got struck with I think 8 billion dollars in dept so I think this is why they have to bail out this meeting since they got more problems to finish.

Talk about green cars. Honda celebrated earth day and releases their own hybrid that said to be "killer of Prius" its the 2010 Honda Insight. I think that car will stand a chance against a Prius this coming 2010.

I totally agree with this one. Getting them work on public transportation and wind turbines can help them get money. Electric car will not that good.

Is he telling GM not to build good cars that last longer than 3 yrs? I don't think thats a good suggestion. They should go for resale value. So people will buy new car and sell their old cars.

Is this car czar candidate can help the auto industry go over their financial problem? GM got the biggest problem. They are number automotive manufacturer in US. I hope they come up with a plan.
