Bands, and the rest of us, must remember that there's a real person on the receiving end of emails and phone calls.  It also wouldn't hurt your chances to send writers links to pages that actually look good.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Or if you can scrape together the cash with a few other bands, invest in a media platform that will showcase your talents more effectively than Windows Media Player and YouTube.
