Yeah! RIM needs a cheerleader! Of course it's all subjective and overly enthusiastic at this stage. And I've yet to be provided a reason to develop for RIM. I refuse to develop for Android and have zero issues developing for Apple. See how much fun it can be....

If the current news about Samsung numbers are true from court filings, they being the largest assumed mobile selling company, then all the other Android based companies are probably embellishing as well. Such numbers leave one to wonder where Google has been getting those activation numbers they keep spouting. I think to be fair to Android, companies are going to have to post 'sold' numbers, not 'shipped'. And definitely not activated as it just doesn't add up in a positive light for Android.

You don't need to crack the case. Haven't needed to do that since version 1 of the AppleTV OS. Just search for ATV USB Creator, then got town.

Nice article, worked after sorting out a few things that are different currently. Like where the files end up!

Don't need to install OS X on Apple TV either, it is OS X, just very Linux-y minimalist and you can then add whatever you want.

I think it's time you updated this article. ;)
