It seems to me that no matter what this Administration does or does not do, their causes will positively and negatively effect one group or another. Therefore, it makes sense to me that actions be taken to create the highest good for the greatest number of people. I realize that that is not always going to be allowed to happen, because the greed of the few seems to often outweigh the needs of the many.

I sincerely believe that the best ideas of the democrats and the republicans could be combined with the intelligent consensus of the masses to develop effective solutions to most of the problems we face as a nation and as a global community.

Until so many politicians in our government remember and embrace their true and pure purpose as public servants, they will continue to serve their masters of greed at the expense of The People.

I wish that those who fear that America could lose it's freedoms and that the free enterprise of capitalism in America is endangered would see that, just like communism at its worst, capitalism left unchecked will ultimately destroy our freedoms and make us slaves to greed.

Is this a trend? If so, maybe it's a good thing. And I don't mean good for the Republican party, or even the Democratic party; but for independent thinking and progressive action for a change!

I think that, instead of making texting while driving a secondary offense, it might be better to make it a primary offense for which officers may pull over and ticket suspects. I don't think that officers should have to wait until they can witness unsafe behavior before citing texting as a secondary offense. I believe that texting while driving is much too seriously hazardous, and it should be treated as such, without babying offenders. People who text while driving scare me as much as people who drive under the influence.

I have noticed that a lot of people are commenting on what they think OTHERS can or SHOULD do to make Michigan better, but are not commenting on what THEY can do. Therefore:

1: I can ask people what THEY HAVE DONE to make Michigan better.
2: I can ask people what THEY WILL DO to make Michigan better.
3: I can keep asking myself those same questions, and do more.

1: I can ask people what 3 things they would do to make Michigan better.

2: I can not add offense to the world. I could not react negatively to negative actions or words of others. Instead, I can allow myself to have my feelings then think before acting, and maybe even do nothing; therefore, I would be not adding offense to the world by reacting defensively in an offensive way.

3: I can Allow myself to simply come up with one thing for now that would make michigan better.

"Chrysler says it will match the $4,500 government incentive..." Is that in addition to the government incentive; effectively giving buyers up to $9,000? The article is not clear on that matter.
