I have do this again in a few weeks for our next round of co-ops. I'm thinking of just offering it to the one person that knows how to use email and read a meeting invite, but I don't think I'll be lucky enough to find someone with that skill (for a very good job in IT).

Resume is obviously important, the skills need to be obvious but it should be unique. Some schools have an obvious template and it would be such a small amount of effort to make it different. But be careful, I'm flashing back now to someone last year who wasted a huge portion of the page with their initials in giant gothic script.

I like the follow directions point. I don't care what someone wears but if I say no ties and you show up in a suit, then that will throw me off.

It comes up so often in these lists but I have zero interest in a Thank You note. Fine if you send one or a follow up, but I'm not going to be down to two people and think, 'which one sent in a meaningless note?'

My first click will always be to the jackets and they did not disappoint. My eye jumped right to the Richard. I've never been drawn to a zipper before. I don't believe I own anything with a double zipper - I'm intrigued and scared.

My Phish phase in HS was listening to Farmhouse for a whole summer. I think that was their most mainstream attempt with normal length songs, so I'm not sure it counts.

With some potential at C in the system, he could be a backup in year 3. I don't see that as terrible, even for the price, a solid backup C and mentor.

FB was the easiest to implement and use along with the number of times I've heard complaints when building sites about having to remember another password led to the decision to do this first. At some point you'll be able to have a traditional email/password login, but I don't have a guess as to when that would be.

My grad school ID looked the same as my undergrad ID (9 years apart). Classmates picked the undergrad one as my current one.

I forgot about that Blink show, I went the next time they were in Camden with Green Day and all I remember from that show is Green Day being amazing and then Blink coming on AFTER them.
