Bitch, you know I'm a Chicago girl. Thusly, you know I can navigate ANYTHING drunk. Curbs, stairs, buses, trains, hoola hoops, bikes, segways, jump ropes. You name it. My problem was that I was sober. Walking sober was the issue, not walking in general.

I haven't been in LA that long.

It was spectacular. Probably my favorite sight in Dublin. And in this case some of the previous owners were Jonathan Swift, Archbishop Ussher, and Oscar Wilde. I'd LOVE to have them looking over my shoulder while I thumb through their books.

You are right on the money with Life. I am constantly baffled that people aren't watching this show (along with Friday Night Lights and Damages). Damian Lewis is second to none as Charlie Crews and the supporting cast, Sarah Shahi, Donal Logue and Adam Arkin are the perfect foils. I thought the season finale last week was superb and will be devastated if they aren't able to come back next season to show us what's next.

If you're a Damian Lewis fan, I highly recommend trying to find a copy of the movie The Escapist. I saw it at Sundance last year and it was truly the best independent film I've seen in all my years attending the festival. Lewis doesn't have a huge role, but he makes the most of his screen time, for sure. I also got the chance to meet him at the screening and he was refreshingly humble and lovely. He seemed genuinely tickled when someone told him how much they loved Life. That type of personality, in the middle of the Hollywood circus is rare, so I feel like he's worthy of my devotion. :)

I also love House. True, this season's been rough, but even on their worst day, House is better than 95% of the shlock networks try to pass off as entertainment.

Ha! Actually it was aimed at the person who wrote the article that you quoted, but since you agreed with them, I guess a little. I don't disagree that the clown thing is a little overused, I just think it's dangerous to make blanket statements about the scale of what is scary, scarier and scariest to most people.
