Thats why we have an election so everyones voices can be heard. Obviously I am going to vote for change this year. Good luck to all during this falls election. Lets hope its for the best for our community!

Re: Primary results: Lewis holds commanding lead; Haugen in second - Auburn Reporter

I dont think it has anything to do with developers, it does have to do with the progress Auburn has made in the last few years. A few clean parks and an admin building downtown and a lot of business leaving the area, I dont call that a lot of progress. How about a reason for people to come to auburn, especially downtown and a reason to be proud of auburn. Clean parks should be a given, thats just up keep, but with how auburn is growing we need more, look at the other cities around us. We are a dump compared to them.

Re: Primary results: Lewis holds commanding lead; Haugen in second - Auburn Reporter

I second what shelley has said. I'm glad some people understand and are on the right page.
Thank you shelley for all of your hard work for the people of auburn!

Re: Primary results: Lewis holds commanding lead; Haugen in second - Auburn Reporter

Ok I guess you are right he has done something but he hasnt done anything to help auburn and hasn't given auburnites what they want. A few years back everyone was told that downtown auburn would build a kind of a rec center with shops next to city hall, now its an admin building?.... How about we find a reason for people to want to come to downtown auburn instead of wasting space with city cubicles. And maybe there are plans for parks but they have been "plans" for YEARS, and still nothing. Lots of talk, no action. I'm not sure if Virginia will be the best change, but at least its a change!

Re: Primary results: Lewis holds commanding lead; Haugen in second - Auburn Reporter

Why re-elect him he hasnt done anything but make auburn worse since hes been mayor. Auburn needs a change before it goes even farther downhill!

Re: Wallace captures Miss Auburn crown - Auburn Reporter

A bit upset with the judging this year and shocked at what was considered talent this year. I hope this pageant gets better next year.
