PS: I found that altering the Xcode file was not actually needed - you can pass a couple of command line options to xcodebuild to tell it which profile to use etc.

Something along the lines of:

xcodebuild -target "${TARGET}" -configuration ${CONFIGURATION} -sdk ${SDK} CODE_SIGN_IDENTITY="${IDENTITY}" OTHER_CODE_SIGN_FLAGS="--keychain ${KEYCHAIN}"

Brilliant work man: thanks so much for working out how to properly install a provisioning profile without needing to ask Xcode to do it...it's far cleaner than the approach I was using before!

Hi there

I think some of your comments on the language just come down to personal taste, and I think its for exactly these reasons that they have plumped for rules such as mandatory braces after control statements etc - there should be one way to do things and thats it! (saves on future flame wars). That said point 4 in the language critique is an example where then don't have this right....they need to fix that.

As for your comments on the build system: its quite early to be saying such things. I'd argue that you should file a bug rather than moan about them on your blog coz then they might get fixed!

Otherwise a good insight as to what other people make of the new language. I for one watch with eager anticipation as to where this might lead...
