The tribute bands are nice to listen to live music. Janie and I saw Smokey Robinson and Frankie Valle (Four Seasons) at the gaming casino in California this year 2008 and the show is excellant. The tribute bands are good for the live music but you can get all the history and music here with the mods. I wish I could see a Ronettes Tribute. Charlie, I enjoyed your feed on Ronnie. Boom Boom Boom! Eric Burton and the Animals were one of my favorite British Beat bands, especially their blues renditions. The early Stones recordings of blues was the closest thing to the real deal - The Animals. This is a great song by John Lee Hooker done by a great group. Rock on!
Thanks for the early footage. Good to see the roadies getting the equiptment ready and the band waiting and quibs. Good to see the Black & White film footage and the crowd. This band was a hit at the fair that year. The Young Rascals (later called The Rascals) were the headliners. I have this record in my collection and is definately one of my fav 60s rock songs.
So the outsiders with butter and marmalade makes sense. Please find me a complete loaf of "Outsiders". I think we have over 30 record albums up. Any favorite group Chris C? The Rascals? Stones? Bob Dylan? We can feature an album.
San Fernando is an old town with no major buildings. I also remember a great Sam the Sham record called 'Little Red Riding Hood' which was also on the jukebox at the pub I referred to earlier. San Fernando always reminds me of the song about the last train to it. The famous Glasgow comedian Billy Connolly did a take off of the song called 'Last Train to Glasgow Central.' At the time he was really funny. > > Link: <a href="http://www.glasgowmods.co.uk/2008/10/30/sam-the-sham-wooly-bully/#comment-3397727>" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.glasgowmods.co.uk/2008/10/30/sam-the-sham-wooly-bully/#comment-3397727>">http://www.glasgowmods.co.u... > --> You may reply to this email to post your response.
