Hey Jonathan, I'm not sure that kind of customization is possible. I'm actually using a tweaked out version of another theme now (not genesis) so I don't really have any way to futz around with it and see if it's possible.

If you are using Genesis though you should definitely check out their forums and pose this question. If it's possible I'm sure someone there will know how to hack it pretty easily.

Good luck. If you figure it out come back and leave a link so I can check it out and maybe it'll help someone else out that's looking for a similar solution.

Tell your son good luck with his career in the NYPD. From what I've seen being an EMT in NYC can often be just as demanding and probably more thankless job than the NYPD. Sounds like you raised a hell of a kid either way.

Hi Mark, I hadn't been using pagination numbers on here yet but when I saw your comment I enabled them and they are working fine. I left them on so you could check for yourself.

My guess is that you have a plugin somewhere that is interfering with this. Off the top of my head I would guess that if you are using WP Cache or a similar plugin try disabling that and then test out the page numbers.

Let me know if you have any other questions or if you do get it working.

Also, since Dropbox is basically the industry leader, there are so many cool apps that work Dropbox into their own making it great for the user. I assume that as Drive grows this will happen with them as well but it doesn't seem as if Google is really pushing this product as much as they could be. Maybe they're waiting to work out some of the kinks as well.

I have seen some improvements. That being said I also have not tried to transfer an enormous amount of files over again either.

One of the great things about Dropbox is that if you let your account expire they actually keep and let you access all of your files you just can't add any more. I have no idea how this works but that's what I'm doing while I'm slowly testing the waters of Drive.

The hard thing to give up is the pricing is so damn cheap!

Thanks for the comment Casey. This man obviously has some serious issues. Personally I don't believe in any sort of corporal punishment for children, I think there are better ways to teach but this doesn't even fall under the category of punishment of any sort. This is flat out abuse.

You have to have some serious issues to think this is OK on any level. This is the guy's stepson too. I hope his wife lays down the law. My first thought was just kick him the hell out but maybe everyone deserves a second chance. However this second chance would involve long-term anger management sessions, honest and sincere apology to the kid, family therapy with the kid so he has a safe environment to discuss how this made him feel. Since I doubt all or any of these things should happen she should probably just kick his ass out.

Hey Steve, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Maybe "simpler" wasn't the best choice of words. I really do like the concept of Site44 and think it has a lot of potential. I wasn't trying to be negative when I was talking about the "identity crisis" I really was trying to figure out who the site is ideal for. Not at all implying it's not ideal for a lot of someones I was just thinking out loud.

Your blog using Site44 looks amazing btw and the samples you show are incredibly cool examples.

What I think would really take it to the next level is to keep offering what you have but also offer a simple WYSIWYG editor that will then automatically save and publish the pages to the dropbox folder making it even easier for novice web users to take advantage of it.

As a developer myself I know that there are a ton of people out there who would love to have their own, simple website but aren't even familiar with how hosting works. Site44 could really be the solution for those kinds of folks too if there was a tool to help them publish the html pages within the web app itself.

I hope that clarifies my thoughts I a bit.

I used to live directly across the street from this place and Pat (who btw was not the founder, it was actually his father who started it way back in the twenties) was the first person I met in Park Slope. Seriously one of the nicest, most genuine men you'd ever want to meet. He spent his entire life keeping that bar open and trying to make a living for himself and his family. Seeing places like this close is sad knowing that it continues to mark the end of an era.

Now, besides diversity in ethnicity should all ad campaigns also include a skinny, frail looking woman, an average sized woman, a slightly curvy woman and a morbidly obese woman so that everyone can feel as if they're represented in a fucking Cool Whip ad?

I sent them feedback about it the first day. If I had heard back from them I may have stuck with it a bit longer. There's no way they're not already aware of the issue. They could at least address it to let us know they're working on a fix.

I really dig the new login UI and how it's laid out, it makes it easy for people to connect or just fill in a name to comment. The community tab is probably my favorite new feature, it's a great way for people to see who is involved on your site and lead them to other active posts.

That being said @twitter-41899343 has a lot of great points as well about some neat features that were taken away, although I can see why the reasoning behind it.

All in all though, I really like the look and feel of it so far.

I've already uninstalled it. At one point I was getting an "Could not Connect" error so it wasn't syncing anything and it was still using the same amount of resources. I may have given it longer but I submitted ticket the first night it was out and have yet to get a response.

What version of iOS are you running? You said you were using a 3G. Have you upgraded your software to at least 4.0? If not you probably should. All apps have or will stop supporting iOS 3.x at some point very soon. That may be your issue.
