Are there any other dependencies to enable draggable projects? I have this configuration enabled, but still can't drag projects. Do child tasks have to be linked in a specific way? Will it work if child tasks have explicit end_date (as opposed to start_date and duration)?

I also find music and ambient office noise distracting when I am trying to get complex work done.

Can't find the task that causing the Invalid Day Index? Switch to the source version of the gantt js. It has a debug break that will let you trace back to the calling function.

If id:3 depends on id:2 - finish-to-start, does id:3 still need a start_date defined?

What a tangled web we weave!

A less complex approach that doesn't require re-defining existing terms is to promote the use of proper terms. Instead of using MVP to describe the first release version, call it what it is: Release v1 (or similar).

When an executive describes Release v1 as the "MVP" mention that "Release 1" is much more than an MVP. It is a market-ready, production version that contains the first and most important features of the product. Always refer to a release version as a "Release".

It should also be noted that Eric Ries never defined MVP as a product in market: "The minimum viable product is that version of a new product which allows a team to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort." This could be anything from an interview script to a clickable prototype. No sane startup owner would "launch an MVP".

As for communicating the tools of the product discovery process, you may choose to avoid ambiguity and not refer to experimental versions as MVPs. Perhaps just call them experiments or some other existing term that appropriately describes what it is.

Creating new definitions and redefining established ones will only add confusion and reinforce the use of misnomers.

I can't believe they kept that impractical design. You can't put it in anything, because it's larger than a standard component. You can't put anything on it, because it's a spiny triangle. I absolutely love the software, and use it as my primary HTPC UI for my Mac Mini.

These guys need to get off the weed and design something useful.

Benefits of Apple TV: You can rent movies, buy music and shows from iTunes with the remote. Screensaver doesn't take paused movie out of full screen.
Better on Mini: Full codec support
