They apparently also had a violation in animal care so this is a great window to push it through.

And wtf I don't understand him! Nothing he was saying even made sense "this is a tradition going back hundres of years" Yeah to when there were NO CARS and that was how people go around not for a little touristy stroll through traffic around the park! Disappointment in him

They're beautiful! It does kill your hand. I'm actually "out of shape" lol. When I worked at the bakery we used to destroy tray after tray and now I'm like ugh five cookies my hand is sore. People don't realize how tough it is haha...I mean after all it did cause me tendonitis that lead to me needing surgery! But it makes me happy to make such pretty cookies so it's worth it.

No gelatin, no preservatives or any of the crap like fake color, gluten free, and practically eggs free too except for a tiny egg wash that could probably be skipped to hold to two layers together. Could prob be made vegan too if you used all shortening.

They're very light and doughy...not really crunchy like a flagel. They're much bigger too with a bigger whole in the center. And they're braided so they'll much more peely and flakey than a flagel. Altogether, much more delicious!!

I truly believe that! Baking is like art! If you paint when you're angry it's going to reflect in your work. If you bake when you're angry the care doesn't go into it. Your cookies turn out misshapen and burnt on the edges and raw in the middle like a certain west village bakery.

Thank you so much for the tip!! I was covering a three layer 6'' so I guess it wasn't a good format for my first try! I just did another one last night though (6'' two layer) and it went perfectly! I used a little shortening and just went super slowly and no cracking or tearing AT ALL. So thank you again for the tip =)
