It reminds me of an Apartheid Law that required Blacks to show documentation if they was on the white side of town!!! I for one believe the priest should be allowed to marry... Sexual desires are a basic human need like food & water...This is why the Vatican will never control or protect young children from predators lurking behind the white robes...Amongst other things when u study the Catholic religion and study the bible they are completely different... The Pope is suppose to be Peter whom Jesus gave the keys of heaven to go make disciples but the bible states there will be no more prophets in my name...Therefore people can trust their children with these holy immitators and worship statues which is known as idolatry in the bible...but if you give them the power and believe in their practices without research then u will be subjected with all that comes with it, and sexual abuse comes with this paradigm... the bible states, "wolves in sheep clothing" BEWARE

I do understand that this bill is not perfect...(no public option) but i also understand that its the framework of having such a bill exist... As you all mentioned they will likely make changes as they did, ss and medicare...So then what's the fuss? The reps understand how powerful this legislation is, no turning back.... But watching this moment last night, no one on the right mentioned the millions of people without insurance and the millions being denied!! Dont ever underestimate the genius of a Black man!! Well there are couples who have different political agendas...the famous CA governor Arnold Sch...but I see where this is a problem because this is a new group with a new purpose...However we have no proof this is his ideology, but it does seem strange considering the political climate, why now is my question....As stated before people are building coalitions to make sure this is Obama's only term...I just hope we do the same

There's always somebody trying to take your spot...and the worst part of being married is that your husband can meet one of these types... One who will cheat, lie, hide, steal, and stay mute all to have what's yours...What's interesting is how the mistress thinks she's special, " he doesnt lie to me, he's not afraid of me, I know who he really is"...WTF... these type of women are dillusional and in the long run they realize they are indeed NOT special... Let's keep this in perspective, she accompanied him along his campaign trail all over the world to meet his needs, just like athletes have their paid whores and musicians who do the same...she happened to get pregnant, but what's most interesting is how she referrs to her existence as divine intervention as if God would do that, would he? Would God introduce a man to his divine mate while he's married to a woman who's terminally ill, so he could leave her and cause pain on everyone in his life???Would God help a man get out a situation by making it worse? And just as Elizabeth I decided to leave...Its something about this type of woman u cant deal with, the standards are so low u cant compete or u will lose yourself in the mists and end up miserable ... The truth is these women dont know the real man behind the passion...in a marriage the passion levels out and the partnership kicks in and she'll never know the level of respect and revere a man has for his wife... It's more than love, a man wont marry u unless he respects you and after reading her story I doubt he ever will... My hope for Elizabeth is that she forgives them for they know not what what they do as I did...and move on enjoying life...Life is too short

Democrats suck especially the ones in MA...ever since NJ election I,ve been contemplating changing to Independent...I cant be apart of a party who cant stand up for what they believe in...30yrs Ted Kennedy fought for justice and to vote a rep in his seat with the opposite values makes one wonder...what do dems want? what do they really care about? I find it quite interesting not shockingly surprised that here we are grading the 1st black president 1st year of service...of course Obama have to work harder and be better than any other president or he fails....Not to mention last year America was bankrupt and heading towards a major depression...Therefore, within a year Obama has changed the course of this country, financially , international relations, healthcare, and the war...but nothing would be good enough to statisfy Americans, It was OK, for Bush to lower taxes on the wealthy and raise taxes on the middle class or allow the financial insitutions to do whatever and lets not forget to wage war in a country for no apparent reason...but here is a President with an agenda and purpose and yet his support is yeilding...The challenges are grand and if we dont bail on him he will go down as one of the greatest Presidents...he needs our support more than ever!! I know i made the right choice!! He gets an A...

Yes i do think it would be different because the Reps are known for their racial tone but its more of an embarrassment for the Dems top SENATOR to be recorded as saying such!! ...One could argue that his speech doesnt matter but as we know if Obama street talked he would not be President but referencing his skin tone is suspicious... He is brown toned and clearly not as light skinned as most lighter skin blacks but now we know this makes them (White people) feel more comfortable...which is a disgrace!!

This is Brilliant Seth!! I just want to add i had many debates about this issue too and know of many couples who purposely name their child with an American name in fear of him/her being rejected!! All i can say to them is your already defeated...and your setting them up for failure...My name not african but arabic was given on the opposite basis to have my own identity seperate from the european culture...My mom and dad instilled in us to not conform and be seperate from the group mentality...In the 70's the motto was "Black is Beautiful" Im Black & Proud"...I thank them for not naming me Jane or Susie....who would i be with that name!! Also not to my knowledge have I experienced much backlash... but im not unemployed...yet!! lol

In some states there's an existing law that does not include same sex marriages...how else would you include them without a persuasive message? In this situation, Congress needs to be persuaded, they are the persuadees and the gay advocates are the persuaders... I had this debate many times with my cousin who happens to be gay and he raises the same human rights issues... and i tell him the same as i said in this post... these are my feelings about the issue ...im not saying im right ...but no one can tell me how to feel eighter....and just because you have knowledge about the Law doesnt make you right...In my opinion there's no justice in the law...whoever comes up with the best persuasive argument wins...So we can manipulate the law as we see fit to benefit whatever we want... even with civil unions in NJ gay couples feel inadequate because it seperates them from married people...I think it should be a clear seperation but that's just me...jamillah
