My brain is a crazy place, but there are tons of shiny gadgets here! Here's to a future of TV without the suck.

Re: Developer Gets First iOS 5 Crash Report, Hints At New Map APIs

`MKUserLocationBreadCrumb` has been around since at-least iOS 3 (I think) - it's the model class for that little GPS dot in Maps.app.

The iPhone OS 5.0 bit of the crash report, and the fact that it is crashing at all definitely is a good confirmation of an iOS 5 preview in June though.

(I should note `MKUserLocationBreadCrumb` is a private, internal class of MapKit, Apple's framework for displaying and working with maps in iOS.)

Re: Make Your iPhone Your Personal Shopping Assistant

Hey there, Jake Marsh here, I'm on the developers of ShopSavvy, compared to RedLaser we have tons of helpful features like Deals, the ability to add or edit product info and tell us the price you found items for, if we ever don't have them already. We have data on over 20 million products from over 20,000 retailers and have thousands of sources of data we pull from, RedLaser only has a few and they aren't really organized too well. We'd love to have you try out ShopSavvy 4, after all its free!

Re: Make Your iPhone Your Personal Shopping Assistant

Hey Matt, Jake Marsh here, I'm one of the developers of ShopSavvy. Sorry for your troubles. ShopSavvy 4 for Android is coming very soon. All of the improvements and new features of ShopSavvy 4 for iPhone will be coming to Android. Please stay tuned.

Re: http://www.iamdonald.com/post/1179147101

next gambino track better be a betty white feature!

Re: Grooveshark: Approved!

More than multitasking, honestly, I need to able to add multiple songs at once to the queue. Through search, yes, but even more importantly would be "Album/Albums" views. Grooveshark's web interface does a pretty good job of this, it is desperately needed on the phone. Prime place I'll be using this is driving home from work and setting a CD to play when I leave work and not having to touch it after that is super key.

Super pumped though, congrats on the release, glad to have it on my home screen :)

Re: Nokia Plans Tablet to Take on iPad

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

Ok, no like really?

Nokia?

I'd LOVE to see Nokia try to make a mobile OS (or anything really) that doesn't make we want to kill baby kittens.

Re: “That’s going to be impossible to code!”

I agree with this statement! TileStack does actually let you use their in-browser tools to build NATIVE iPhone apps for sale on the App Store. Here's a link describing the whole process: http://bit.ly/2r5xl7 - TileStack also has stuff in the pipeline to allow the same process to work for Android and Palm Pre devices. Not to mention TileStack can directly import old HyperCard stacks as well as let you embed your stacks on any website or download them as dashboard widget, google gadgets, etc. All-all-in TileStack is (IMO) the perfect natural evolution of HyperCard. Worth a look for HyperCard fans for sure.

Re: jonathan. tumbling.

This is GREAT!
