What if I don't have access to the web (where the application and in the worst case the files are) when I really need it? On a plane, when travelling abroad etc?.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is the major flaw that I see in web-based applications. They need to have "offline-mode" as well, which as it seems, very few do until a few years down the line and adoption.  Don't get me wrong, there will propably be a large boom in web-based apps (already being seen I guess), but there's a lot of limitations there as well especially for business use.
