On top of that, they were fairly ugly, and lacked a lot of features (since adding other comment plugins often broke it).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Disqus has been great because they keep spam out (spam blockers on wordpress so far have let some things through). Also, there is a ranking system, avatars (much easier to integrate than gravatar, since it's included as well), and all sorts of ajaxy things. There are some things I don't like (like how wordpress drafts show up on the disqus discussion page when you preview your article), but all-in-all I have seen so many improvements to it, and it's only getting better.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now they have video comments which can be added with the click of a button. I'm totally sold on Disqus now; I'd suggest giving it a try, if you're at all interested.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">jaered</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 14 May 2008 21:49:34 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
