I imagine even just the wrong kind of cloudiness and lighting can have an effect on being able to "see where the plane is headed" and must be done with caution on bad days

A good instructor probably makes all the difference when learning to fly...no-one behind the wheel of an airplane should be drowning in self-doubt and overwhelmed

I'm all for GPS as it's a great tool..but learning the old-fashioned hard way of navigation should continue to be practiced as you never know when it will come in handy

Yes it's probably a good decision to bet on England winning the Ashes...Australia is just too diluted with new talent now and not everyone is melding to the team as well as the old order

Ricky Ponting has had his share of slow over rates and has even gotten away with them in the recent matches against India...it should be a fine each and every time not just when they feel like it

2 match test series is too short...they should instead look at the length of the test matches themselves...i don't know but a match that goes on for days gets boring after day two

You would be surprised how many people have cracks or dings in their microwaves but they continue to use them instead of having them checked out. Another sign that your microwave could be a problem is when the metal plates inside look warped or burnt around the edges...time to have it looked at if that's the case.

Cricket has been around forever and it's nice to see how the money is finally starting to flow into the sport...but perhaps too much is flowing into the player salaries now and not enough into good quality coaching and fair cricket boards?

Simon Taufel is my personal favorite...he's fair and always has his eye on the right part of the field and follows the action well..to the best of my knowledge I've never seen him make a mistake on the field

a level 4 offense is rare but it does happen...although I'm thinking that if you've already gotten to level 4 it's a hop skip and a jump straight to criminal charges being laid and perhaps jail time instead of just a cricket board punishment
