Home prices are out of control in MD and I'm not really feeling the constant traffic anymore. With that being said, we're not opposed to being in a sort-of city. Not big city but not too rural. I grew up in a super rural area so I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to relive that as an adult that works at home. #CABINFEVER

Re: Jaclyn Day — Isobel is sick. I think it's all hormonal related and it really sucks. If your period just started it sounds similar to what's going on with me--lots of hormone adjustment and overload. Are you getting blemishes along your jawline/near your mouth? That's usually where hormonal acne hits. NOT FUN.

Re: 5 Websites You Should Be Reading

Thank you for mentioning me! I find the full-length Fabletics leggings to run a LITTLE big. To be honest, until last year, I hadn't really worn (or tried on) one-pieces since my lifeguarding days and those swimsuits (Speedos, etc) were definitely tight in the torso. Last year when I started hunting for one, I bought several J.Crew one-pieces online and was happily surprised when they fit really well! They do make long torso versions of several styles, but I just bought the regular one and lucked out. I also got a Stella McCartney for adidas one piece on MAJOR discount last year and that fit well too, though the torso was a little smaller than the J.Crew ones. I guess if I order any more this year I'll choose a store with a good return policy just in case!

Re: Diaper Comparison Spreadsheet

You make a good point re: factoring wipes into the overall cost of the diapers. I kept the price of Honest wipes entirely out of it originally because I figured you can't choose whether you receive them or not--you get 4 "free" packs per month either way (and you might need more or less), so it didn't seem exactly fair to help use that against the cost per diaper. But I can see why it's advantageous to do so! Still pricey, but not as much sticker shock. Ugh. Diapers are so annoying.

One other frustrating thing: I think that Honest charges shipping on bundles for newer customers. (I hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong.) So that makes the overall bundle cost more like $85. I think older customers--like us--got grandfathered in with the free shipping on bundles that was originally part of the deal.

Re: Recent outfits:

That is the best thing anyone has ever said to me.

Re: Happy Mother’s Day.

Thank you so much! :)

Re: Adored Austin: Some of my favorite blogs by moms

Thank you for including me! :) What a fun surprise. xo

Re: Acacia Scarf Target Jacket (Similar from Target) ... | Jaclyn Day

I got my regular size (S), but I think I might go back for a M so I can do a slouchier look too (with leggings and such).

Re: One, Two, Three, Four

Well, that was about the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. YES! Exactly. That's the perfect way to describe it. I'm going to try the Dr. Mercola kind immediately.

That's so crazy that you didn't like the auto dish gel! We use it every day, BUT I use it as a pre-wash and then I use the dishwasher pods as the "main" wash soap. So that might be why I like it--because it's not having to do ALL the heavy lifting.

Re: Wearing ALL the trends. :/ ZARA Scarf Old Navy... | Jaclyn Day

You should definitely size up, especially if you want to wear thicker socks with them (which I recommend because they aren't exactly meant for walking). (I also use a CHI.) The most important thing is to do all the steps as quickly as possible--creases happen when the flat iron stops moving. It will probably happen more in the beginning when you are getting used to the motion, but should happen less and less the more proficient you get at it. Be sure not to clamp too tightly either. If you do get a crease, go over that section with the flat iron at the end to try and smooth it out.

Re: I’m loving each new Fabletics release more than... | Jaclyn Day

UGH. I do think black tights can work with cocktail dresses, but only with certain styles--like a fit-and-flare style, for example. The overall effect can be a little casual, business-like or mature for black tie if the dress is more of a sheath or A-line style. On the other hand, a sequin shift dress can look great with black tights. (But that might not be formal enough for a black tie event.) Shoes with tights are the other complication. Black peep toe shoes CAN work with opaque black tights, but pumps are a better choice--and unless they're very formal/sparkly/fancy, that shoe style can make the outfit look less formal too. I think at an event with a more relaxed dress code, black tights with a cocktail dress in a certain style would be fine. But, for a black tie event, I'd tend to err on the side of being dressed up a little more.

Re: Hi Jaclyn, I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction.
