All sins are not created equal. All sin is unacceptable to God but all sin is not equally destructive. There is an "Unpardonable Sin." There is a "Sin unto death" Christians are not supposed to pray for. There is the list that Paul said I tell you again as I have told you before that those that do these sins (and he list them) shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. On that list Paul gives is the sin of homosexuality as well as others. There are only two options, and they are heaven and hell. Homosexuals can be delivered from the demon spirit of homosexuality and get to heaven but if they do not repent of homosexuality they will not go to heaven. The Bible is very clear about that. Joel is a poor excuse for a man of God. He spues a feel good compromised gospel that will allow many to comfortably go to hell.

I see a different scenario with a similar result. Obama will be remain in power but it will be because of Marshall Law being ordered due to a complete economic meltdown.

I don't understand how the writer of this article could think the Tea Party trying to put the brakes on run away government spending in any way impacted the downgrade of America's credit. First of all the Republicans caved and passed the debt limit ceiling increase while getting no real deficit cut in return. This downgrade belongs entirely to the democrats and President Obama. The Democrats had total control of the government for two years and failed to address our fiscal problems. Instead they crammed a job-killing, deficit increasing, unpopular, partisan health care down out throats. Also they did what democrats always do they spent money we did not have. The Democrats have two plays in their fiscal play book. Stimulus and when that fails as it always does (classic example 10 year depression under FDR's failed stimulus spending) even more foolish spending.

I am afraid that if the deadline isn't meet it will not be the end of the world, but it will cause problems which will be blamed entirely on Republicans and they will suffer greatly for standing up for what is right.

So Carter caved to pressure saying basically he didn't have the authority to try the case. This is a sad day in America when the Judicial Branch of Government shuns its responsibility to be the check in balance of power the Constitution requires. It makes one wonder who is really behind the scenes pulling the strings to put this foreigner in power.

It is sad that such anti-christian views get so much attention. Jesus taught as does all the New Testament to love your enemies and bless those that curse you. Bless and curse not. Rev. Drake is an embarrassment to all Southern Californian Christians. He should be kicked out of the First Southern Baptist organization. My prayer is that the media will ignore him and maybe he will just go away.
