The report was posted on this website on Saturday - if you took the time to read all 97 pages (I did), it showed Morgan's signature w/date of 10/14/09 stipulating to the facts. ALL of the facts. That was the day before he was a no-show at the 'speed dating' candidadates forum on 10/15/09. Obviously Morgan didn't think it would be found and would just go to the hearing on 10/22 and hide it under the covers, but the Mirror did find it - good job. Now he's just trying to postpone until after the election, under the disillusionment that he acutally has a chance to win.

His signature was there. It was dated. You can't say it wasn't if you saw the report. It also said he agreed to the maximum fine of $4200 and that it would be paid in full by 10/31/09. The still shots of his rock-solid 'alibi' were proven wrong in Iwamoto. Pathetic, both of them.

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

I can't remember what he has said about it, but it works just fine - he writes with it, types with it, you name it. But it's convenient now to mention I suppose.

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

of course he'll say Iwamoto... she covers for him on everything. And wouldn't that be 3 meetings?

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

there is no keycard access to Morgan's office - only the door that leads to the court office right next to Morgan's office. Seriously, who does he think he's fooling? Check out the log... isn't it ironic that the SAME DAY that these posts are made he is caught on video entering the external secure gate to the court access using the MCTEMP'S ACCESS CARD???? He has seriously lost his mind... You have to know him to know that this is totally predictable behavior for him. He can't STAND anyone saying anything about him - he just CANNOT keep his mouth shut. Can NOT. For those 1200 or so of you out there that voted for him, take those rose-colored glasses off and see him for what he truly is. This is the epitome of his behavior and treatment of others. Hopefully the CJC will get involved in this too.

Re: Judge Morgan under investigation over online election comments - Federal Way Mirror

Let's end this right here, right now. The City knows who was at work that day in the court. Everyone who scanned in, including Morgan and the MCTemp card he used as well that day, and every clerk - including Iwamoto - give everyone a polygraph regarding the incident. The only question that needs to be asked: Did you enter Judge Morgan's office and sign onto his computer on the day in question? I guarantee you all but two people would be willing to do it - Morgan and Iwamoto. They are delusional in his claims that it's a cyber trick, or a ghost ISP - and that crap about his disability in his right hand?? How handy to claim that now. Do you know how many times I had to sit in his office to listen to him rant while he was shooting off an email to someone? The man can type. He writes with that disabled right hand. Don't be fooled.

Subject Morgan to the same tactics to prove his innocence that he has subjected the clerks: every time he didn't believe something that resulted in discipline, he would make a request for them to take a polygraph test. In fact, I have it in writing where he emailed the court administrator to "arrange for my polygraph" without my knowledge. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, wouldn't you say? If you're so innocent in this latest revelation of your true character, prove it Morgan!

Re: Federal Way judicial candidates face off in forum for primary election - Federal Way Mirror

"not one of whom have been reported as quitting their job as a result of the judge's alleged terrorizing."

um, not true - in fact, the written portion of my exit interview stated that I was leaving due to the divisive environment Morgan was leading, and I referred to him as a tyrant.

Come on Mike, you read it yourself.

Re: What should we do about the Federal Way Municipal Court? - Federal Way Mirror

it's very clear why the City is considering this option: they cannot take a CHANCE that Morgan will win re-election. They simply can't. They cannot stomach another four years with this guy and all the trouble/turmoil he brings with him. They cannot assume that the voters have seen enough and will oust him when they get the chance - he has a lot of money, and mark my words, he will run a dirty campaign and outspend every opponent so that he can "win". It simply cannot be an option that he has the ability to return. So sad for the clerks there, because it is only them that will lose in this situation - sure, they can apply for the positions that would be created as "district court clerks", but people who already work for KCDC would have priority over choosing the new FW location. Shame on Morgan for affecting others with his horrible behavior in this way.

And let's be perfectly clear about one thing: he has not displayed this behavior for "nearly a year". It started the DAY he walked in after election in January 2006 - the City just didn't act until AFTER employees filed the CJC complaint against him (also in 2006) and was pushed to the brink to hire Stephson - he has been a maniacal tyrant since day one.

Re: Supreme Court hears Federal Way judge's case - Federal Way Mirror

Steve, he's already been reprimanded by the CJC for his actions - these were just continuing offenses that were investigated internally. Check the CJC page, it's on the front page of recently admonished/reprimanded Judges - and Morgan is front and center, deservedly so.

Re: Federal Way judges file for re-election; updates on city council candidates - Federal Way Mirror

you have to ask? This person took a promotion by Morgan a few months ago, after she had filed several union and personnel complaints against him. SHE WAS THE SUBJECT OF ONE OF THE CJC ALLEGATIONS THAT HE STIPULATED TO. He told other employees constantly that he was going to fire her. Yet here we are, 2 years later, and now she's a supervisor promoted by him. Ironic,

Re: Federal Way judges file for re-election; updates on city council candidates - Federal Way Mirror

There is no way any current or former employee that worked with Morgan would call him "honorable". I worked there. No way. No way in hell. If Morgan has the guts to debate in public, I'll be there to call him on his actions.

Re: Administrator defends judge and Federal Way court | Letter to the editor - Federal Way Mirror

I witnessed his behavior, and can tell you there is so much more to this. The complaint of sexual comments was not regarding former Judge Hartl or the events surrounding her resignation. He made inappropriate sexual remarks beinning with his new tenure, long before Hartl was around.

As for "As far as Judge Morgan’s admission to the CJC that he discussed firing court clerks, Judge Morgan did give the impression court employees would be fired for engaging in misconduct such as sexual misconduct.". maybe.

But he threatened to fire all of us, on several occasions, starting right after he was elected. If you made him angry he wouldn't look at you or talk to you for months. He would have the supervisor come and speak for him or pass along files. He threatened everyone constantly and consistently for the first 2 years at least.

He would yell, sometimes profanities, in common areas and say unflattering things about other clerks in earshot and loudly for all to hear. Yes, his door never closed completely, but he purposely slammed it and it would bounce back open because of the defect. He slammed it on several occasions out of anger, after yelling down the hall to his office, so the suggestion and impression that it was solely because of the defect is a lie.

This letter by the administrator is so clouded and carefully worded to twist the true complaints against him, that it sickens me. As someone who worked with and witnessed his behavior, it amazes me that anyone, especially someone in management, can support him to this day.

There is so much more that people don't know, and that hasn't come out, this was the tip of an iceberg.
