It is frustrating, isn't it? I think a large portion of the tumblr community are artists and, in theory, this would make tumblr an ultimate forum for sharing our stuff--yet it isn't. I think to a certain extent it is part of the design. I'm in the same boat. I think what I might do is set up a separate blog for writing--real writing--and provide a link to it.

Hmm...this happened to me before. My computer kept working but the keyboard was dead. I've dropped a lot of things in water and I would say half the time they work again and half the time they die. The key is to get it as dry as possible before trying to turn it on again.

In whose opinion can you not craft a decent story? Writers are notoriously hard on themselves. I guess what I'm asking is, why are you so certain your story is not decent? I loathe every word I write but I also know that every word I write is not loathsome, you know?

Think about this for a second--do you really think 45 instances--single instances--of sex without a condom is that unusual? I've probably had a lot less sex than a lot of women--I just have more variety.

Well, because most of the time I'm having one night stands, it is easy to know if I was sober or not. In cases of repeats, I went by the first time we had sex. I don't have a running tally, but if I'd thought of it early enough I damn well would have kept one.

Yeah, I went there. I also agree with everything you said. I'm not perfect with this stuff or anything but I promise you when I get married there will be no silly wedding favours, no ridiculous engagement ring and definitely, definitely no cheesy band. Okay, the band has nothing to do with the environment, but I think it still falls under the category of unnecessary.
