This is a fantastic post.

I have been using DISQUS for 1 Week. I installed it after 1 day of trouble shooting and CSS Customizations.

I choose DISQUS becaus it supports Facebook and Twitter Integration.

However, the CSS Support was a pain. There was some good documentation but the documentation was not thorough.

I finally exhausted all the online help and support forums and went into the dark areas of using DISQUS CSS to Hack a number of Custom features.

The next day, I installed IntenseDebate for another Website. the IntenseDebate Installation took me a fraction fio the time that the DISQUS Installation cost me partly because I refused to think of customizing the CSS behavior for IntenseDebate

I have issues with DISQUS partly because they really don't sync up all comments even though they say that they do.

For example, a number of my old posts were closed for commenting, so I re-enabled them.

On WordPress, these old posts are now open for commenting but on DISQUS, they posts still show "Comments on this Posts are Closed".

I disabled/re-enabled my DISQUS Service seevral times to no avail and then ran the import comments several times.

It is like DISQUS has no idea what is happening.

These are just some of the issues. I am wondering if I should switch back to Intensedebate?

Not Really,

The demand is not based on having more or less than fifteen years of experience.

When I started my consulting career I had 1 month of experience but the demand for my skills was the same as if I had 5 or 10 or 15 years of experience.

The demand is based on "how good you can prove that you are" and not on the actual number of years even though it may seem otherwise.

But you did bring up a good point. Which is, what is the demand for our skills based on?

You are right in saying that one needs a strong marketing plan for becoming a freelancer.

It is not easy to establish trust with someone that you haven't done business with before but you can do it by working very hard to satisfy or exceed expectations every step of the way

Finally, while you also need to evaluate the business analysis services you will be bringing to the marketplace. You need to begin with a SWOT Analysis so you can align your competitive strenghts with the demands in the local BA market.

I will be releasing a SWOT Analysis Training in the next 1 week ... that is where you need to start!

Just to make sure that I am on the right path, could you copy your course /degree syllabus into a word document and e-mail it to us?

The reason is that every university or college makes changes to their industrial engineering curriculum and I would like to compare the requirements for BA Jobs to let's say Industrial Engineering in South Africa.

Bill:

All our courses are self-paced. What that means is that you can purchase multiple courses using the discount coupon and take the courses at your own pace.

You are not required to begin or complete the courses by any date.

You may even PAUSE your courses (put your training on hold) for a few weeks or for as long as you want and then RESUME your training when you are ready.

... and even after you complete all the courses, you will still be able to login and watch the training videos on your own time, because you will still retain access to the training portal.

I agree with you that certifications are important.

The Software Developer Boot Camp and the SQL Boot Camp will help prepare you for the Microsoft Certifications because they are based on Microsoft Software products (SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET).
