Hal Varian set it best in 2009 article that we are creating more and more which is driving bits and bits of information that feeds off itself like technology does. It will be interesting in the future to see how the creation and thus compounding of data reacts in the new info age. It is also going to be interest when data is going to be developed durin the future Internet of things boom ( estimated that 50 billion devices will be connected to the Internet in 10 years!) therefore, google will not only knownwhat time u wake up, it will know what spin cycle u use on ur washing machine, how fast u drive in the morning). I think the compounding of data will be even more powerful than the compounding of interest ever was! Great article and video ~ u should have also referenced google think quarterly magazine which is all about data!

Re: Scripting News: Ideas for conferences

Lol maybe jj. Seems like this idea was embraced from Quora. My first guess was that M would be purchased from Google - my second guess, a social network given the beta login accounts mashable had created. This new service leverages the social in media - keep creating value Mashable - uve gone from m to M - your readers are here to gain value and create value!

Re: Download Railroad: Why Canada Wants Your Bandwidth

Canada, the land of the free.....for now!

Re: http://tbaypages.ca/post/3050932154

Interested how I found this article after I posted this quote.

Are you a content consumer or creator?
http://www.briansolis.com/2...

Re: The Value of Linked Open Data [Infographic]

Ur post says inforgraphic which is clearly a trending buzz word but u presents data visualizations- what the difference between the 2?

Re: The Exhilarating Power of Purpose

Purpose first, Then profit - Umair Haque

Re: HOW TO: Ask and Answer Questions on Quora [VIDEO]

mashable creating their own how to videos - cool!

Re: How Videos Go Viral [INFOGRAPHIC]

Didnt know Mashable was in the Infographic business - here is the reason Y - http://www.google.com/trend... ....smart move!

Re: Facebook Launches Group-Buying Prototype

Monkey see monkey do - innovation paraylization

Re: Why Are Social Networks So Addictive?
