I had a pen-pal in France that I actually 'wrote' to in french and she would write back in english. I now have a few 'keyboard' pals in China.

It's really cool and I'll hopefully have a few pieces up on those interactions soon.

I find it very useful to have life perspective from another part of the world and it also helps my language proficiency. I think every teen should have a pen-pal.

Ewan kindly allowed me to play around with an iPhone a little while ago. I thoroughly hate the iPhone, Apple really should have just stuck to iPods. The only function that really impressed me with the iPhone was the feature that made my fellow classmates point and stare when I whipped it out of my pocket. One thing that annoyed me were the problems I had connecting it to WI-FI.

This show was brilliant guys! As informative as it is I find it hilarious. About going to China. I was there two weeks ago and one very helpful and practical service was a language translation service that was being used by students at the university campus I was staying at. I stayed with a chinese family for a day and it proved extremely useful.

This being filmed does not surprise me much. I know that as soon as a fight takes place the first thing teens (especially where I live in East London) think of is their mobile phone and its video camera. If I wanted to (I do not) I could probably catch the last few serious fights in and around my area on my handset via bluetooth. As for killing and sending it around that's just wrong. I wouldn't be too suprised if it were to happen in London, to be honest.
