Even though you may disagree with the advice of the saliheen, and you feel there is no basis in Islam, do you have any proof to say that praying the supererogatory prayers and reciting Surah Yaseen on the last Wednesday of Safar is forbidden? If not, how can you condemn it? If there is a difference of opinion, shouldn't you find the differences and then make a statement? If I didn't like your way of Islam and I condemn it without realizing that your teacher has a different valid opinion, what type of believer would I be?

By the way, reading this comment on the internet with your computer has no basis in Islam. THIS IS A BIG BIDAH. This is not following the ways of the early Muslims. Is this an appropriate behavior for you? To follow something that the early Muslims did not do?

More bidah: are you using a keyboard? Is that a mouse near your After Hijri computer? How do you connect to the internet..... DSL?! Cable?! Dial-up?! So many innovations!

I had a brief conversation with Mr. AC where he defends his position that he was not inspired by IslamCrunch even though IC has been in the blogosphere for several years. I wished him success and moved on.

As you can see from my post, I welcomed the addition of a new tech blog highlighting Muslims.

I still wish him all the best and thank you for your comment. Are you involved with the ACrunchies blog? I like it ;)

I don't know if people use it. I use blog aggegrators to find new blogs to add to my own list, to search for new content and also for research on a specific topic. Alltop has come in pretty handy for me. Now I have another source to check out.
