Haha, my roommate last year basically grew up in YoungLife, so I know there are some awesome leaders out there. And I know I'd be welcomed there, but sitting through Bible stories every week would just be...I don't know, a little weird.

Judging by your answer, it's pretty clear that you haven't read anything about the bill (outside what Glenn Beck has told you, anyway). Any form of debate would be useless at this point. If you had supported anything you said with facts and statistics, people would have been willing to have a reasonable discussion with you.

But rather than act like a decent human being, you made a series of cruel, terrible, and childish remarks. You could have convinced people to see things from another point of view, but instead, you made everyone angry. You're only making your side look bad, kiddo. Way to go.

Yes, the system worked really well for us. It was also really time-consuming, so we only had two short stories and a few poems by the end of the quarter. (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing - quality over quantity, right?) There were two things that we did that would most likely work for any other class that uses peer reviews:

In addition to teaching us the basics of creative writing, the class also emphasized how to give constructive criticism. (Don't get so caught up on grammar/spelling mistakes that you miss the point of the story. Don't attack the writer. If you see something you like, say so - but never offer false praise because you feel bad for the writer.) This meant that students were getting high-quality feedback and not "You missed an apostrophe, dickhead."

And the authors of the stories were ordered to remain silent when receiving criticism. Once the author starts defending their piece, the whole thing turns into a stupid argument, and nothing gets done.

She wants to get rid of it because the slit goes a little bit too high, but I think a tailor could easily/cheaply fix that for her. It's hard to find cute pencil skirts these days!

Yay novel! Also, she often says "Jerk-off!" instead of "Jerk!" [e.g., "Ugh, Tad is such a jerk-off!"] I wind up giggling awkwardly every time, because I can't think of a way to say "Dear, that's a synonym for masturbation."

I love her to death though, I really do.

And then the paragraph with the answer just said a bunch of vague stuff like YOU ARE GOOD AT MINING BURIED DREAMS! and FALLING IN LOVE MAKES YOU FEEL ALIVE! Facebook quiz results are like really crappy fortune cookies.
