It's so good to know that we have solidity in our future CB positions.I think it's one of our main issues at the moment. I can see him leading a very strong back four for us in the not too distant future. Great to have him on a long term contract. He has obviously earned it. Good for the lad.

I think this is bit stupid. In our last game we scored 3 goals away from home. Yes we created the chances to score more but thats not something to whine about. We got 4 against Blackburn. We're top of the table. What do you want????

I've an idea... Go and support spuds.
At least when you spend you're time complaining it will be justified.

Its really great news. Cliche is one player we can't afford to lose.

I've heard a few people say that thye tackle wasn't so bad. IMO it was a straight red. He showed studs and the injury is the result. He did get the ball but with total disregard for Cliche.

Also I'd like to congratulate fellow gooner Ian Poulter on his excellent performances in the Ryder cup so far.

Let us not forget Kevin Davies. This isn't the first time he has thrown his weight around and gotten away with it. And let's face it. The lad has weight.

I really do wish him well. Having said that i dont think a fully fit rosicky is good enough for our first team. Of course a decent squad player but like gilberto, at his age he needs to be the best in his position or he needs to go.

The penalty decision was a disgrace but what can you do. We shouldnt have found ourselves going 1-0 down at that stage of the game. I think Cesc was playing too high up the pitch at times. We lacked his vision coming from the center circle. He's not quite fit at the moment anyway. Of course Nasri was a big loss. Theo was tearing it up, always great to see. Denilson was his scatty Denilson self. I think although Song didn't have a great game, he did ok breaking up play and playing the simple ball. The biggest problem for me is when ur looking to win a game, Eboue and Bendtner wouldn't be what I'd bring off the bench.

2 points lost?
I guess we'll really know the answer to that when the group stages finish. If we finish top, I for one won't be too worried about a draw in Kyiv.

So many teams a capable this year. I don't see Liverpool ( apart from the obvious 3 or 4 excellent players) having the squad or even first team to finish ahead of us though. It is without doubt however, that, most of the challenging teams are easily able to beat the so-called lesser teams in the league. We beat a diminished Blackburn side 4-0. A great result but I would imagine that alot of teams will be taking 3 points away from Ewood park this year. Its hard to be certain of champers qualification but i am confident. We could find ourselves mounting a serious challenge for the title if we stay relatively free of injury. One thing is for certain... This is a very intregueing season we've just embarked upon.

Come on Arsenal.

I completely disagree with you fabo. I think Gallas is the real liability in our back 4 and kolo should always be first choice. I believe he should have been captain what gallas got it.

It is a wonderful phylosophy. Obviously some silverware would be nice but i genuinely believe that it's coming. Unlike some of the others, unfortunately we didn't see the best from Flamini. The alure of Milan and a hefty pay rise proved too much of a test for his loyalty.

We do need somebody. Very few are denying that. I'm not keen on Appiah simply because he's potentially another task for the Lewins. Having said all of that, if AW decides to sign him I'll have to bow down to his superior knowlege and love the guy like any other Arsenal player. Also, pompy were after him and you'd have to think that Harry knows his stuff about African MFs. I'd have gladly taken Muntari at the grove this year.

I would rather not see a takeover. I think Arsenal are building a sustainable future for the club. When the big money investors pull out (which they eventually will) Arsenal will have built a solid foundation. It is the long way round but from what i can gather, its the healthiest option in the long run.

Dont be fooled. Any self-respecting arsenal fan is so because of the way arsenal conduct themselves. Nobody cares how much we spend. We're concerned about having another 3 years without a trophy. We already lost our 2 best players of last season (imo) in flamini and hleb. They've both gone in search of silverwear. How long before cesc and others follow suit? Thats the main concern here.
