As an app developer, I hope that everyone who buys iFart is also buying 2 or 3 other apps. I hope that my two educational non-flatulence Henry & Hailey apps can get a fraction of the success that iFart has achieved.

The problem with these mainstream articles is that it makes it sound easy to sell your applications. I have two applications, Henry and Hailey's preschool pals and Henry and Hailey's Kids ABC. Henry and Hailey's preschool pals is currently ranked in the top 50 paid apps in the education category. We are very proud of our ranking but we are not making millions of dollars. I think most developers are going to find modest success. I won't quit my day job yet:)
