Did you ever see the movie "Crazy People" when the crazy dude decides to put truth in advertising and say why guys really want Porshes etc ( to get girls ).
This is SO much like my brother, he is always buying the most expensive cars. In fact I have ridden in a bunch of the cars and ones like them in the book because my older brother bought them so he could get young tall skinny hawt chicks. It makes me laugh.

I love your post here Kaleb - brilliant.

Kaleb - Check out the super long chapter titles in Steven Brust's Phoenix Guards or in Alexander Dumas books ( such as in the Three Musketeers etc ) they are great, some of my very favorites actually. When I read the Phoenix Guards with long chapters titles like that about 15 years ago I decided to read Dumas who he said was one of his inspirations and loved those too.

I do think the whole thing goes by so fast they don't have time to really come to terms with it - but you know sometimes life is like that - sometimes death is like that - so in a way this is like the real decisions we all have to face. Things in life can change very fast.

Parts of BD are very hard to read, just like parts of MN are hard to read, and I'm not talking about reading ability, just some parts are gross and some parts are heartrending, and some parts you want to hit the characters with a 2 x 4.

And Bella just sits around drinking bloodshakes for a while.
That is not as bad to me as Jacob hanging out there while Edward is worried about his pregnant and sick wife.
Actually the Rosemary's baby and pregnancy from hell thing bothered me a lot more than drinking blood and so did Edward wanting her to get rid of the baby or asking Jacob to father a child with her. Those are the things that bothered me, after those drinking blood is like nothing.

As I have agreed Kaleb - I love Jacob's long chapter titles too. His way of thinking is so different from Edward's maturity wise, yet sometimes he gets things that Edward does not. But his coming of age in these chapters as he realizes he has to go against Sam and his pack is really really good and you will start to like Jacob a lot more by the end of the book you will probably like him a lot more than you did earlier --- well maybe not....

Keep reading Kaleb, keep reading... you are in for some shockers.

I imagine it depends on the famous person. When I worked in a resort some the the famous people were really normal and some were really weird. Like Brittney Spears with her big bodyguard. Liv Tyler seemed like a nice normal girl who came up to the desk herself.
I do see a bunch of famous people around here in the valley of the sun and it can be cool. or weird.

I work in a high school that is a treatment center for troubled teens and I have lots of guys there reading twilight. And I'm not talking sensitive guys, I'm talking 17 year old black guys that were in jail for crimes and want to be rap stars and are completely hooked on twilight and ask me to print pictures of the characters off the net for them so they can hang them up. I think it's cool. Of course, they might be reading it to increase their chances of getting to talk to the opposite sex but so what. They are high school guys reading for fun.

A lot of the high school boys I work with prefer Jacob too. I think they can understand him more, related to him more than Edward.

This was a really difficult chapter to read, and I think Jacob could really now see how much Edward really loved Bella, that he was really willing to do anything to help her. It hurt that Edward did not understand that Bella loved his child and wanted it because of her love for him.
I don't think Edward's offer was right or fair but I don't think that Edward was really sane or thinking straight at the time, he just is so afraid that this child will kill Bella he doesn't see any good outcome.

I have been on other sites where people made fake accounts of other users and started war. Like huge fights and then people thought it was the real person doing it and not the fake copy. So much drama.
