Yes using the NCIC for snooping is wrong, But the NCIC does not have as many records as most private background check companies, I work for Integrascan, we have access to over 70 million records when the NCIC only has a little over 1.5 million records. The NCIC has been promoted for a long time as a revered database of criminal records. The fact is it is a voluntary program that relies on the input of law enforcement agencies that decide individually if the police record is important enough to upload to the federal system. Many law enforcement agencies do not have the time or staff to upload every arrest and courts do not have the staff to upload all convictions.

Private Background check companies whom run background checks have much more access to Criminal Convictions as that is a real criminal record, not arrests. The people have the right to know if our president has ever been convicted of a crime, we should make it mandatory to run Criminal Background Checks on all public officials whom win an election. Look what happens with the elected officials in New Jersey, Patterns in criminal behavior could have been spotted if a Background Check was performed by a private company.

U.S. Citizens need to demand Transparency as the President has claimed, The Presidents Criminal Record should be posted for the world too see as he works for us. Integrascan intends to post the record on our website.

Terry Sweet
Integrascan
