Screw Ambien. Rough stuff. Look into melatonin and get a notebook to write down the crazy ass dreams that you'll have on it.

And stop doing anything in your bed besides sleeping and sexoring! Don't study, don't read, don't watch tv, etc. It really does help.

I've lost around 50 followers since the BP ordeal. It's actually somewhat amusing.

My job is as secure as it can be in the oilfield. Fortunately we do a good deal of work internationally as well as in the gulf. If not, I'd probably be out looking for something else.

Believe you me. I know all about the hate that can be thrown around via internet anonymity. When I make a reference that I work in the oilfield the hate mail and anonymous "ask" come flying in.

Showtime seems to have the better series (Dexter, Californication, etc) but as far as everything else about it, I couldn't tell you.

Wow. After skimming through all of the reblogs, people need to learn to lighten up. Sheesh. It's suppose to be a day of joy and fun. Not letting something as insignificant as an old wedding tradition lead you to wanting to end a marriage then and there. What a bunch of boring people/ relationships those must be.

Just have to remind yourself constantly that the ends justifies the means. I had to do the same while finishing up school and it was rough as hell, but I'm in such a better place now for it.

So...she actually beat me to the punch. She mentioned this band that is playing and wanting to go check them out with me. The band just so happens to be made up of some really good friends of mine. It all worked out really well.

Hope your soccer game ploy worked out for you. And damnit to hell I wish we had a MLS team here.

Venture outside of the city. My work takes me to a lot of smaller towns around here and I see old men and young men alike wearing hats of the "old school" kind.

It's places like that, where I can wear one of my grandfather's 'newsies' style hats without feeling like one of the douches that frequents Karma.
