I love the product, but I'm having problems posting photos from the app. I always get timed out. I've tried reducing the picture size to no avail. My B'berry is on the Sprint network, and I can post photos via email just fine. Help!

A sincere thanks to Mark for the shout-out.

It's worth saying again that Mark "gets it" - the whole blogging thing. I mean that in terms of "old media" adapting to "new media", Newsweek's Tumblr is the perfect example of that, along with the Times's City Room: it isn't necessarily a newspaper/magazine trying to squeeze it's square peg-self into a round hole. Newsweek's Tumblr is organic (unlike The Today Show's Tumblr, which - with all due respect - is haphazard at best. You'll get better, Matt and Meredith!) and it just plain fits into the convo.

Hard-nosed reporting + blogger mentality = a damn good, informative read. Pretty simple. Good job, Newsweek. And sorry if that's patronizing in any way. :-)

Seconding what Meg said, which is basically what I've said, specifically the part about having that time to job search whilst living with your parents in MN. I don't know if that's desirable - or even feasible - for you, but I've gleaned that you're unhappy where you are, in what amounts to a foreign place: I would do everything I could to get out of a situation like that, even if it meant breaking a contract that you don't know the other side will hold up anyway.

Whatever happens, you've at least got our friendship. Love and hugs, Gecko.
