I may have rendered them unable to peg me. I got a "This webpage cannot be found" in the left-side ad section of the Obama page. ANd on the right was an ad about "What's the responsible point of view?". Just colorful text, no pictures. Maybe they think I'm blind, so they don't bother with images of pretty people.

Where can I find these handsomely aggressive men? I never get accosted {whine!}. The kiosk mall people I see are very sloth like, slumped on their stools, with their eyes half-closed. They just can't be bothered. Must be the sleepy California sunshine.

Thank you for this information. These screens just appeared on my PC a few minutes ago, but did not fall for buying their product. I've heard that when these types of screens appear, you should click on the X(close) button on the window and to not click on CANCEL or anything else in the dialog box.

What I'm wondering is, how did I end up on their page in the first place? And, am I safe as long as I didn't fall for this particular scam? I ran a Malware check program I already had installed on my PC after exiting my internet browser - Malwarebytes.

Again, thank you for posting this information.

Oops, forgot to mention that I do also have Norton Antivirus software on my machine, so I have a regular virus checker.

Do you know what causes the browser redirect in the first place? Is there a virus on the server side of specific websites I'm hitting? I was on a Facebook application, with other tabs open to websites I can't recall at the moment, when it popped up.

Wow. Why is it OK for people like your parents to speak their minds, but you can't call them on it without creating an "awkward" situation? As if it weren't already awkward when they opened their mouths? My sister is horribly embarrassingly tacky to be around, she doesn't say N-word political embarrassing stuff (which is why I only found out recently that she's on the opposite political spectrum as I) but she is loud and makes heads turn to stare at us in restaurants when she opens her mouth to say very very stupid things. I hardly ever see her. Thank God.

I so love your writing style. You kill me. And my Gawd, you must love France to put up with that crap. I'm assuming Attention Deficit Syndrome does not do well there. I also love that you call the post office the Illegal Alien Bank. I love the notion that other countries have illegal aliens, some of whom are American. You know, the other shoe, and that sort of thing.

Keep the glasses, no question. I started wearing glasses when I was 5, stopped at 14. Started again at 24, then finally got contacts because it was easier to play volleyball that way. But after a few hours, they'd bug me, but I was so vain, I hated wearing glasses. Well, now that I'm older, and glasses are truly fashionable, and I don't need them for volleyball any more, I LOVE and prefer wearing glasses, and think I look better with them. They add character to my otherwise plain face Also, it saves money and there's no worry about "sticking stuff" in my eyes that might scratch or otherwise hurt them.

So there's my 2 cents.

If a parent thinks he needs to use it on his or her kid, then it seems there might be a problem that goes deeper than merely making sure they make it safely home from school each day.

I think it's a good idea if the child may have special needs or is really young and you are working on building their independence, in which case this would make a good intermediate step.

However, I can already foresee the opportunists and abuse of new technology and I'm just waiting for the first stalker story to come out where some obsessed jerk slipped one into some girls purse in order to follow her home. ICK!
