Every time I watch Natsu enter a fight, I swear to god, my face is like (T_T) "Why didn't you recharge...." lol. Even now, I was thinking "you were trapped at Fairy Tail for, like, 2 hours... Why didn't you burn some furniture and get your charge on???" XD XD Anyone else thinking it, or just me?

These two are just so beautiful. I can actually feel my heart beating harder at that peck on the cheek because all I can think is, "Someone could *see*, but he did it anyway."

This is definitely the most touching comic in my feed. I come here to get my feels. Never disappointed, love all the art - no matter who draws, you can feel the love and effort put into the pages.

So, this was a really interesting series. Artwork was really lovely, I never found my eyes getting bored. The characters were relatable; there were no characters that I found I couldn't stand - unusual for me, since I always seem to find someone I just wish would get out of the picture. One of the iffy points for me was the pacing. It was sometimes hard to tell how much time, if any, had passed. Particularly when looking at their relationships; sometimes it was hard to tell if they had been together for days, months or years.

Themes that really stand out in this would probably be the grey zone - things aren't always black and white, good and bad. Family themes, no matter how unconventional. Internal conflict crops up on a regular basis. Quite a lot of dealing with death - both as the deceased and as the family (though this isn't unexpected in a supernatural anime).

One warning I would like to make: if you object to implied shounen ai (which I have no problem with), I think this might not be the series for you. Though it's never made overtly clear (and there is much joking about finding a wealthy wife), there is a slight romantic element to the relationship between Kantarou and Haruka - both in their physical intimacy and the way they interact. Some may pass it off as a really close friendship, but to me, it felt like you could read into it more.

Overall, I'd give this a 8-9/10. Other than the pacing, the only thing that lowered the rating would be the fact that the ending feels incomplete (the manga was/is still running, but there is no sign of this being continued - 10 years have already passed). Definitely recommend this if you're into the supernatural, mystery-per-episode, unconventional family type plots!

This turned out to be a very interesting and sweet anime; followed the shoujo constructs quite normally, but threw in a few twists and turns along the way. Overall,the characters have a good balance between 'characters with a lot of back story and depth' and 'characters who are comic relief'. Another positive is that, although there are a lot of male characters, it wasn't like twenty men were absolutely in love with the main girl and since only one could have her, at least 19 would have to have broken hearts. The appearance and detail of the animation was quite lovely; definitely not bare-minimum boring. Pacing was also pretty good; slow enough in a couple of areas that I wanted to click ahead, but other than those few times it was fairly well paced. Overall, I'd give this anime a 9/10 -- definitely worth the watch!

I just keep imagining the scenario whereby the next night, a young guy takes his young gal onto the rooftop for some moonlight tonsil hockey. The clouds part and moonlight shines on the message below, just as the girl looks down. She yells a delighted yes, and throws her arms around a a confused guy. He looks down, reading the message, stunned and now trapped unless he wants to tell his gal that that message was meant for someone else. He was only on the roof for the kissin'.

Somehow, I can't help but think that Penny would laugh if she found out about it later... XD Me and my imagination...

I think in Melbourne, it depends where you go to eat. The local/suburban restaurants are quite often "Australianised" with regards to Indian/Thai/Sri Lankan curries (my family background is Sri Lankan), and almost all Asian foods at the bigger restaurants are iffy. If you go to the more 'foodie' locations or the smaller family-run restaurants - China town in the city, for example - the food is much more authentic. The first time I went to a good Korean restaurant in the city, the wait staff were watching anxiously as my cousin and I looked at our food. The finally broke, came over to the table, and told the proper way to eat the dishes (they were so lovely about it; they even explained how the name of the dishes related to the way they were supposed to be eaten!)

I've found that Australian advertising is usually humorous, frequently in a series of related ads, and very often interactive. For example: Louie the Fly was a part of a save or kill campaign - vote online, Rhonda and Ketut are in a series of ads for AAMI Insurance (also interactive voting online), or compare the market versus compare the meerkat (you can actually find comparethemeerkat.com.au as set up by the company). I have to say though, my favourite commercial (even though it's old) has been the It's a Big Ad campaign for beer (https://www.youtube.com/wat... which is so aware of itself as an advertisement that it just cracks me up.

P.S. I like the inclusion of comments - its interesting to see what jumps out at you guys when listening to us!

I know you kinda covered it with the mouse-over text, but I really just adore that Liam and Milo are so comfortable with this discussion. If I could explain what my heart feels like, watching this pair, it would be something along the lines of 'explosion-of-fluffy-kittens-and-unicorns' level of warmth.
I think you guys are amazing to be able to communicate such a complex and real characters. I just love them loving each other. You can have all seven of my "You made my day"'s for the next week. I shall revisit and feel my happies ^_^

I totally second this. People are so complex (and Teahouse definitely does an amazing job of reflecting this!), there is no way to say that every individual will cope with hardship (or any other emotion , for that matter) in the exact same way. This is how Rhys has chosen to cope, and if it's what will get him through it, then I support it. There are many worse ways to cope than seeking comfort/distractions in someones arms.
