The ladies tell me she had cosmetic surgery and used the "blood clot" as a ruse both to cover up the surgery and to delay testifying on Benghazi. I suspect everyone in DC and the media knows this.

Beg to differ. Americans do not like to be lied to. This is yet another example. Trust in the President will fall to new lows, particularly among the young who are rapidly becoming disillusioned. Soon they will figure out that the media is perpetuating the lies. Then the young will simply drop out and become apolitical and cynical of our institutions - as they should be in this time and place. So sad.

The first half of Kudlow's piece is the most important. The real economy is too constrained by poorly-crafted, overly-restrictive and in many cases outright destructive gov't policy, regulation and tax disincentives.

If the Fed restores normalcy, the economy tanks since it simply cannot grow rapidly in the current restrictive environment. Without addressing these problems we are faced with one of two outcomes. Either the fed continues to add fuel to the fire to keep it burning, or they stop and the economy flames out.

Neither option is very good, but our present leadership isn't even capable of understanding how their policies are harming the economy let alone taking steps to fix it.

No, the sad news is the tens of thousands who die every year from addiction because of opiate prescription pain pills. These are how PSH got hooked again.

It is tragic he died, but it apparently will take many more high-profile deaths like this before society and politicians are moved to action against the root cause.

I've noticed that ground beef tastes one hell of a lot better now days compared to when it contained pink slime. If it is safe, let it be sold, but also please require product labeling so the consumer can make a choice.

We have always had individuals prone to addiction though. Alcoholism has been around forever. Young people getting "messed up" has happened forever. The scourge that Vermont's Governor is addressing is the "heroin" prescribed by doctors in the form of pills such as Oxycontin. Yesterday's alcoholics are now today's hard-core heroin (opiate) addicts. The greatest generation drank. The baby boomers experimented with various drugs but they were for the most part not physically addictive. Today's youth have ready access to opiates at an age where they lack the common sense or understanding of the consequences stemming from hard-core addiction.
