Oh Edinburgh, I'm planning on heading up there sometime in May - I haven't been to Scotland yet but I've only heard lovely things.

I hope you have lots of fun in London - it's an amazing city. If you're planning on taking a lot of public transportation, make sure you get what's called a Travelcard - they have them for 1, 3, and 7 day increments, and you can use them on the tube and buses - it's easy to buy them at any ticket booth at any underground station.

no problem! regent street and oxford street are great shopping destinations too (the dollar is up!), and you NEED to visit topshop, even if you don't buy anything it's a magical place :D

I actually hid in one of my dorm's bathrooms with some other Yankees-loving friends in 2004 so that we couldn't hear the happy screaming outside. I went to school in Worcester, MA, where the Sox-love is disgustingly rampant. Now I'm dating a Red Sox fan, but I forgave him for it.
