The only tablet I'd consider, at least this year, is the apple iPad. I've had the chance to try out the galaxy tab, and while I love how light it is, google is right. Android still isn't ready for tablets.

Same goes for windows 7. I don't know if you've tried win 7 on a tablet laptop, but windows 7's touch interface sucks. It's slow to register taps, most of the menus are unclickable and even though you have access to hundreds of thousands of apps, most of them wont work the way they're supposed to.

The iPad, on the other hand, has an interface built from the ground up to work with touch. It's been in the market for quite a few months and has its own market (that's what annoyed me most from the galaxy tab. Android apps for a cellphone don't work that great on a tablet). Plus, with 4.2, which I've been testing, you also get multitasking, which works great.

If you don't want an iPad, though, I'd wait till 2011. Rim's playbook looks great, android 3.0 is allegedly supporting tablets, and HP could come up with a WebOs tablet, miles better than the slate they have planned. Then again, we could even see a windows phone 7 tablet.

So yeah, I've been really happy with the iPad, specially now that it folders and multitasking with the beta. But sadly, there still aren't any worthy alternatives

Si, el tema del micrófono ha sido siempre el dolor de cabeza. Ahora usamos un shotgun mic que quedó bastante bien. Me faltó regular un poco los niveles de volumen nada más. Aunque si fallan, siempre están los pecheros por ahí :).

Vamos a ver que se puede hacer con la escenografía. Voy a tratar de hacer un poco más de espacio o, si todo falla, ni modo. Recurrir a Chroma :D

Y sí, la cámara necesita trabajo. Estoy justo editando un video con un plano más cerrado (lo bueno es que el source es 1080p, así que puedo acercarlo y no perder calidad, si lo subo a 720p) y lo voy a subir para reemplazarlo por éste, pero para próximos episodios, empezaremos de frente con el plano más cerrado.

Como comentaba también ,la idea es cambiar un poco la escenografía para mejor. Espero podamos implementarla para el próximo episodio.

En cuanto a la longitud del video, estamos apuntando a hacerlos un poco más largos de lo que se acostumbra porque la idea no es trabajar con un script, sino hacerlo más un show de opinión :). De todas maneras vamos a experimentar un poco con la longitud del video, o quizás separar el programa en 3 segmentos de 10 minutos aprox y subirlos de manera separada.

Claro. Si tienes 4.2.1 en tu iPad, simplemente presionas Home, y tanto aweditorium como DI funcionan en el fondo.

I still jailbreak, but only for 2 tweaks, which "fix" what Apple stil hasn't.

* Sbsettings. which gives me instant access to turn wifi, bluetoooth and mobile hotspot on and off.

* RetinaPad, if you have an iPad Mini / iPad 2, you've seen how horrible iPhone apps look, because iOS grabs assets which are made for pre-retina iPhones and doubles their size. What RetinaPad does, however, is force iOS to grab retina-assets, meaning you get the 960x640p version of the app, instead of the crappy 480x360. This is something I had hoped Apple would've fixed by now (since I have had 0 compatibility errors with RetinaPad), but alas, I'm still at the mercy of jailbreaking. At least, until the iPhone only apps I use release Universal versions, that is (Trello, Facebook Messenger, among others).

Así como no me quieren dar fecha de lanzamiento exacta, tampoco tengo lista de precios. Si tuviera que adivinar, sin embargo, lo pondría al mismo precio que Spotify USA ($10). Y sí, una vez que se lance oficialmente, yo le daría un vistazo a la aplicación de escritorio (y con suerte, también la versión móvil si es que implementan streaming gratuito, como viene corriendo el rumor). Deezer era genial como alternativa a Spotify cuando éste no estaba en la región, pero ahora que Spotify ha llegado, no existe mucha competencia. Spotify tiene más canciones, mejores apps.

Dentro de account settings en Spotify.com puedes cambiar de región. Eso lo hice con una cuenta que tenía en UK, para pasarla a USA (se me hacía más fácil pagar por Premium en USA). Aunque parece que ahora requieren actualizar métodos de pago.

Si está funcionando la versión móvil también, pero parece que con las mismas restricciones de Spotify tradicionales. Es decir, es necesaria una cuenta Premium para usarla en móviles. De momento la app no está en el App Store, pero seguro la habilitan cuando se lance de manera oficial. Todavía no se ha mencionado nada sobre el tema publicitario, pero debe funcionar como siempre, desde la web (https://www.spotify.com/int...
