I'm not gay, but I've always considered homophobia a sign of being a COMPLETE FUCKING MORON. Luckily though, I'm far more intelligent than you. Simply not talking to someone because they offended you is a high handed, stupid way of going about your affairs. So is it really better to feel good about oneself for not "legitimizing" someone than to actually try and talk to them and negotiate a proper solution?

seriously, you guys need to rethink your marketing. i really wouldn't mind a few more adds on the page in exchange for videos everyday. I mean, other than a cheap looking "the insider" (wtf is that?) add and an add at the end that nobody watches, how do you guys expect to make money. Great idea, but a terrible business plan.

I'm sorry but that was by far the worst episode of MobLogic I have ever seen. Why don't you just link us to the 60 minutes website or something next time instead of shoving it into a ML episode. Why pay a host like Lindsay to simply say, "Hi everyone this is new and awesome. Then again, why should we report on it if 60 Minutes already did all the work needed?" Isn't this the sort of thing you put on Amanda's blog? People aren't going to continue to pay attention to this site when presented with this kind of shovelware. Thanks.

I do like this sort of episode but what ever happened to the old style of simply asking people on the street questions for the entire episode? Those now seemed to have been pushed aside for interviews and stories. Back in April the show had a lot of eclectic, interesting shows that didn't take themselves too seriously. For example, "The Future of Television, Right?", "Why is Porn Legal?", "What’s Your Meal Ticket?", "Grad Rates Down, Death Penalty Back!", etc. That type of show no longer seems to be expected and the focus of the show has become much more serious and the feel of the show that i get is that it is often trying to push itself onto the audience: the abortion show, the cyclone shows, the political interviews, the David Crowe/death penalty shows, and the sean bell shows. I appreciate that these are major issues, I'm just pining for more shows in the style ML originally followed.

Also, is there anywhere to find out exaclty how many journalists have been murdered in other counties?

don't do it. The April 2008 issue of wired has a 9 page article on ZAP titled "Hype Machine". ZAP has a long history now of over promising and under delivering. One of my favorite quotes is "ZAP has taken millions from investors and dealers eager to see the company's line of green cars hit the road. But that line has never materialized". Private investors including Ehab Youssef and John Martin have been financially devastated by terrible business practices. Only 2 of the 8 cars announced in for release in the last five years ever made it to market.

From Wired describing ZAP's business practices:

"How not to Run an Electric Car Business in 10 Easy Steps."

1. Meet an inventor who builds electric bikes and scooters
2. Then force him out of the company
3. Don't worry if you have to file for bankruptcy
4. Just hook up with a used-car salesman who has the dough to get you back in business
5. Recruit dealers to sell your cars. Charge them as much as $150,000 each
6. Leave them hanging with no vehicles to sell
7. Announce a partnership with a major car company
8. Sue when it denies relationship with you
9. Don't forget to issue yourself lots of stock options and warrants
10. Keep churning out press releases announcing new, better cars. People love green cars!

Maybe I'm confused, but how does giving grants to authors and artists who court controversy and are working for their own gain help the state of the arts in the country? In my opinion, the NEA should work only with education and performances. I think it is a waste of money to give government money to individuals simply because some consider what they do to be art. Again, thats only my opinion.

Also, i would rather the money went to fund the addition of more animals to the endangered species list (though we all know that Bush won't do that). I tend to like animals more than people.

Please, correct me if I am wrong on any points. I really don't feel like doing too much research so all I did before posting was quickly read the wikipedia page on the NEA

So yeah, your wrong. I think they're morons, but when the article says something it doesn't make sense to directly contradict it in your comment while trying to sound superior to a previous poster.
