First things first, ATT ought to know enough about load balancing to drop data packets for a 911 call.

The entire point of Operation Chokehold is to send a message to ATT that they need to improve their reliability. If 911 calls are already being dropped, like one of the commenters earlier said, forcing ATT to improve their service could actually benefit future people in emergencies by allowing them to make calls that actually go through.

wait, why don't you just get a strap for your sleevecase? I mean, even if you don't already have the D-rings, they're not that expensive and you're in SF anyways =P

currently running a sleevecase (d-rings w/ strap) w/ piggyback as my lightweight bag - fits my x200 and has a back pocket which has a file folder and any papers i need

note about sewing - ballistic nylon is really tough - you'll probably need intense sewing needles and/or machine to get it done - i read on a forum somewhere that if you take it to shoe cobblers, they usually have a heavy-duty enough sewing machine to take care of it for you (read all this stuff when i was dreaming about making my own bag)

hmmm - never knew disqus supported facebook connect - I think I might go back to using tumblr/disqus now...

that sounds like a lot of fun - hope your time at Google is awesome, sounds like this is one of the more publicized projects as well, like people will actually be using this interface - my other friend from pomona who worked at google did some backend picture search optimization stuff which just kinda magically works in the background
