This post is regarding vip.onlycoin.com/one/video I don't see any other updates.. please send a link.

Re: Update No. 1 — Coined | Backer's Club

OK so something else I just noticed in FAQ " A Coin is no less susceptible than your current cards to other forms of
skimming that capture data encoded in the magnetic stripe as the card
is swiped." So what data is stored on the magnetic stripe? And if the Coin can be skimmed to capture data would the person skimming the data now have ALL CC data of ALL cards stored in the Coin? or would it only have access to the one card that is activated? If that was the case how is the magnetic stripe updating that information, as I beleive the magnetic stripe is static information that is burned when the card is swiped via the supplied reader during the add CC feature, therefor storing ALL data of all cards.

Re: Update No. 1 — Coined | Backer's Club

Thank you all for your responses. I had already per-ordered my Coin and I believe it will be an awesome real world tool. Thanks for pointing out the security features in the FAQ notation. Lets hope that all holds true.

Re: Update No. 1 — Coined | Backer's Club

see my other comment but I'm not talking about the merchant necessarily but my concern is two fold and I now understand one issue can be avoided. The lock feature will help deter any accidental charges to the wrong account. (as long as I remember to lock it) but it doesn't deter the merchant employee with nefarious thoughts of charging a different CC in my Coin and using a different reader. I would not know the charge had been made until I see a CC statement. I beleive there should be some other means of locking the card either automatically or by code or even a bio reader of my thumb print.

Re: Update No. 1 — Coined | Backer's Club

sorry I have not seen those emails but locking means nothing if the merchant for whatever reason decides to unlock it, swipe a different account, for a different amount on a different card reader then change it back to the store reader and swipe for the original amount. You wouldn't know about it until much later when you get the CC statement.

Re: Update No. 1 — Coined | Backer's Club

If you hand this card to merchant say at a restaurant, what prevents them from getting into the card by selecting other accounts via the push button I see there on the front? Wouldn't it be cool if that button was some sort of bio scan and you could only select other accounts or get information if it was your own thumb print?

Re: Facebook Officially Announces Automatic Smart Lists

This most certainly does compete directly with Google+, these social companies compete to be first with these types of features, like governments in the cold war... counter espionage is the order of the day. I think the basic concept of members input on topics and suggestions is great.. after all why not appeal to the masses as to what they want to discuss or debate, makes good sense. My comment is; Daniel you are the expert, the organizer and the team lead, the group happens because of your efforts and efforts lead by you, not for that it wouldn't happen. My question is; how much do you plan on giving up control over? Will you organize and moderate and then introduce a "guest" speaker that has relevant and useful information to share in a professional manner? or is there some type of selection process to as to who will lead the group on that particular subject.? after all not everyone is equipped to speak publicly and be engaging. I look forward to the lively discussions and meeting so many great people. Thank you.

Re: Configuring Wordpress for SEO

Great read, thanks!

Re: Move that Bus!

Time to work on the mind next...
