Dined here during their cooked-to-order-dismsum-buffet-day and we were terribly disappointed. The steamed dimsums were floppy and dismal looking. Definitely not a fresh order. Considering we were just a handful in the whole area, the service was slow and laborious.

The best Chocolate Almond Croissant in NCR. Ask for the creamy but not overly sweet Strawberry Shortcake and you'll not be short changed. Great hang out place if you fancy wine, cheese, pastries and a sensible conversation. Alex and Anna are always at hand to assist you. Their pizza is also a steal and alway freshly made.

Reserved online thru Ticketnet's website a month ago. No response from them at all. Then when I called today, tickets all sold except for general admission. Bummer! I wish they were more efficient in handling their reservations system.

The best dish is the Chicken Roasted in Banana Leaves. Truly delish! It tasted like it was marinated in coconut milk plus spices.

There's also the perenial Pinoy favorite, Sing-Along groups serenading the diners.

Watched it with my kids 12, 16 and a nephew 9 last night. My daughter who read the book kept saying, "I told you we should have watched Ice Age 3D instead of this boring waste of money film".

As the film credits rolled, we stood up asking ourselves..."That was it?" It sure looked like a protracted death scene of Harry's prof.

Tried the food at several branches of Pho24 in Ho Chi Minh. Let's see if the one in Makati serves the same flavor.

Back there, the spring rolls were served to be wrapped in veggie leaves plus a dipping sauce.

I love Ina Garten, too. I always pass by this resto but for some reason we always end up in Serendra area. Knowing that they used Ina Garten as influence, I'll make sure next time that we go in and sample some of their recipes. The Cornmeal crusted salmon sounds like heaven to me. More input next time.....till then.

Las Vegas? I rode the XScream of Stratosphere and it is similar but not entirely the same. The Cebu one seems to roll along a track AROUND the building and flips like a coaster. While XScream juts out of Stratosphere Tower and goes up & down. Buggy consists of at least six riders for XScream while I can only see 2 riders for the Cebu one. Inclusive of the Stratosphere Tower fee plus ride cost, Cebu one is cheaper in cost.

So, am a coaster fan so I guess this becomes part of my itinerary when I go back to Cebu.

Let's not be picky about the "first" title. It is not the same as the one in Vegas, so if you have other edge coasters in mind, feel free to post the entire name/place here so we can all google it.

For now, kudos to the hotel for adding this attraction.

We would always eat there before heading back to Manila. The heavy Farmer's Breakfast is a constant fave of my kids. Thick strips of bacon, garlic red rice, a cup of fresh fruit with honey = Yum!

Giant squid steak is superb and almost always melts in your mouth soft. My kids absolutely loves the choco lava cake served with raspberry sauce. It is a nice place to bring kids since servings are huge enough to share and they usually go ga-ga over the wall aquarium filled with colorful salt water animals.

I am not sure if it is the sound and sights of Christmas time but Adelina still gets the vote of baby boomers like my parents. I can still remember the aroma of freshly made adobong mani in the Mandaluyong main outlet. Scrap ham, anyone?

Barring arthritis and high cholesterol, I prefer this kind of ham if compared to pear shape varieties sold in groceries. Absolutely divine with freshly baked pandesal. :)
