IMO, it's less about the lack of the surprise factor it's that he's lost any and all credibility. No one believes a word he says now and the people who do, were already going to vote for him anyway. That the laptop came from a shop-owner who is a registered Republican, that the laptop questionably made it to Giuliani, that it was delivered to the NY Post (and not Fox who probably would have vetted it), that the Post released pictures of emails with all the identifying metadata removed instead of the actual emails, and that the timing was conveniently so close to the election, is all suspect.

Your Java solution has a bug. It needs to pop off the last element in the path in the else block after the two recursive calls. Otherwise, if the first path is longer than the subsequent ones, the subsequent ones will still show the ending value(s) of the first path.

This is because you copied the solution from your linked Stanford page, which also has (had, I emailed the professor) the same bug.

I'm just going to throw this out there: we all know politics is perception and so I've been paying special attention to the language of the messaging coming out of the MSM. TBH, it's essentially been "Bernie isn't electable" and so some of me wonders how much of his results have directly correlated to that.
