Talk to me about house calls! I was one of those retarded doctors who liked to go visit the homes of people who were having trouble getting around. Think I ever got paid for those, no matter how carefully I documented the encounter? I gave up. I didn't stop going, but I gave up billing for them. And they happened after work or on a slow day's lunch, when I wouldn't cut into the all-important office visit volume. YET ANOTHER ridiculous way of screwing individuals with acute or chronic problems into assisted, expensive care and out of their homes.
