Excuse me, I might be misunderstanding your stance. Are you suggesting that is more important for America to fund world-wide overpopulation programs and accept immigrants whether they come here legally or illegally?.We can not be the world's breadbasket. We can not be the world's employer. This is not a utopia. I am not an isolationist, but America needs to first start taking care of Americans! That is the purpose and sole responsibility of our government. If that means we can not send 3 billion dollars to a third world country to set up programs their own government should be implementing, then so be it. Until we have a restrictive immigration policy to reduce immigration to pre-1965 levels, deport illegals as our federal laws demand and can track Visa holders, who anonymously wander around our country, we should close up our borders so we fix our own problems. The world has changed. Our government can barely even take care of its own citizens let alone the world-wide population. The American tax payers are simply tapped out!

The archaic notion that simply because we were once a nation of immigrants, we should roll out the red carpet for anyone from planet earth who wants to come here is absurd! Our birth rate ratio is one-to-one. Someone dies. Someone is born. Foreign nationals have much larger families, which not only puts a strain on the environment, but on our schools and social systems. Why is it that our government writes and passes legislation that overtly favors immigrants over the American people? Why does our President and our Judicial system refuse to enforce the immigration laws already on the books? I guess my questions are rhetorical, because we all know why. POLITICS !

Obama and Holder seem to have a grudge against the former slave state of South Carolina. There are other states who have the same voting law, but for some reason, and we all know there must be one, South Carolina has been targeted. It is the same way with SC's new immigration laws. The DOJ has filed suit against them for their new laws. This administration is all about minority advantages, even when it is an issue of voting security, national border security or when it comes to jobs for illegal aliens. The heck with the majority of us Americans. If you not a minority special interest group, don't look for any help from this administration.
