What is worse is that I'm made to feel guilty for this. Being in work is important but its depressing that most of our generation will spend our lives sitting behind computers due to limited options.

Re: What to say when someone tells you your degree is useless | GoThinkBig

People have actually told me that my Photography degree will hinder me because none of the successful photographers they know have a degree. I laugh this off because the places I meet these people are events I'm also shooting so it's certainly not holding me back! I will never regret my degree because the time and money I had for those 3 years enabled me to not only do what I love and have a great time, but also let me to build up a great network of people who hire me not for the piece of paper but for my skills, passion and commitment nurtured in the process.

Re: How to get the edge and impress an employer | GoThinkBig

Great new perspective on Networking! However I have a dilemma when it comes to maintaining contact with clients. I absolutely agree that emailing about nothing is annoying and a no-no but there is always a lot of importance put on maintaining relationships with clients and keeping yourself in their mind. I find this hard to do as a photographer who works for some clients that only run a few events in the year. I worry that I'm not in enough contact with them but also have nothing to talk to them about. How do you find the right balance?

Re: Ones to Watch: Load.Click.Shoot! | noize makes enemies.co.uk | online music magazine

MAY?!
