More and more courses like these should be made available to the general public, not only in the US, but all over the world. I was lucky to have become a LEED AP, with the help of Clean Edison; the number one green building training and LEED Certification provider, who helped me with every step of the process.

You've raised some very strong points. Ideally, educating people about the other benefits of LEED does make a big difference. If an aspirant doesn' t have the time however, there is always the option of consulting a green building company to learn of the highs and lows of LEED from the right perspective.

i hope that LEED will be the standard that every hotel - not only in the US but across the whole world would follow. More and more green buildings are established by the day, but we still have a long way to go to maximize its benefits.

You have raised some very strong points there Steven. I couldn't agree more that the the ease of LEED certification should not be reduced. Otherwise, the positive advances of LEED will be reversed.

I do hope that the companies behind the projects which are registered under the old program will be made aware that it can be transitioned to LEED for existing buildings, to lower costs and hasten their developments while staying on the right track.

Breathtaking view from inside and out. This sustainable structure's energy efficiency is very impressive, however, it should have been located on a more strategic position, i.e. the heart of the city to maximize its benefits.

That's so true. Even though the team has experienced such a decline in the past season, their first ever, major athletic stadium that's LEED-certified is a huge gain that could benefit us on the long run. Hope that this would inspire other athletic stadiums, both minor and major ones, to pursue green building as well.

I second the notion that achieving LEED certification is the best way to demonstrate that a building project in question is truly green. Once that's successfully achieved, all that's left is to keep the momentum going to have a beneficial Green Building Project experience with handsome ROI.

Such bold and expensive reform will be worth it if it proves to be more beneficial than the previous ways. I do hope that their assessment is precise in this matter, otherwise they'd end up wasting cash that could've been invested in other beneficial means.
