compare robbery with robbery in order to determine whether the punishment is fair, light or excessive...just as you would also consider other factors in the crime such as use of a weapon, previous criminal history, probation status, etc...

Great example is the fact that sex offenders routinely receive probation, light sentences and early release...meanwhile Bernie Madoff simply stole some money from people and essentially received a life sentence...

Miami's punishment will be culled under the circumstances of it's case, past history of violations and past case history where sanctions were handed out to institutions invovlved in similiar infractions...no consideration will even be given to the PSU case as it is irrelevant to UM's case...

Perhaps it is where our opinions differ historically...I believe the NCAA gets it right 99 percent of the time and you don't...however, do appreciate that the folks here all have stuck to what they have opined regarding the NCAA...rather than the hypocrisy I see from a lot of other blogs where folks piss and moan about how unfair the NCAA is but now have all the sudden become their biggest advocate...

Thu, 02 Aug 2012 12:15:00 and SB Nation has become the worst thing that has happened to some of my favorite CFB blogs...whether they have ruined existing ones by forcing out the originators and replacing them with "journalists" or folks trying to impersonate them...Or certain blogs ran by ego laden goofballs and a memebership contingent made up of modern day Hitler youth that have directy contributed to the closing of much more objective and rival-friendly sites..

I say TeT, Jay Coulter, yourself and the rest of those guys that contribute are better off without SBN and the association ponyed up more than a measly $250...then maybe he could have a building named after him on the UCG campus...like the Hippy clan has named after them in Hogtown...

And yes...I played 100 times more meaningful snaps in 4 years of CFB than the Rock did..and it wasn't in mop up time...or because I was simply carrying the eqipment bag for theguy in front of me...BTW, wonder if there's any truth to Duayne liking chin nuts...I mean...You never see him out or connected to any ladies...perhaps his idol was in all actuality another Rock...Hudson that is...

Glad you admit to being a Miami fanboi...of course, there's not really much to cheer about at tOSU...though we do see some common threads in all this NCAA stuff...guess you could say the Bucknut doesn't fall far from the tree it abandons...but hey look at it this way...with a degree from tOSU, you can at least get a job as an industrial deep fryer...it'll even put you a step ahead of the FSU guys already there...

I noticed you like to cutesy up your emoticons with little noses...awwwww...ten year old girls like to do the same...

And really?..You're going to preach creativity and originality while you're copying tweener female emoticon styling and using the term "gaytors"...not too mention how you jumped on da U bandwagon and never got off...talk about being a "follower"...Better take some advice from the late Mike Jackson and start with the "Man in the Mirror"...

Apparently, you didn't know that or you wouldn't have been yapping about how you were a point ahead even with it..So..a rookie, huh?...You've enver entered a pick contest before?...That sounds like a lie to make up an excuse...

You know it's not very polite to pick on somebody's medical conditions...i mean...you wouldn't like it if we were constantly hounding you about your chronic oral diarrhea...so leave the guy alone...

Yeah...I watched the U...doesn't mean I have some secret desire to be something I'm not...unlike you..just like the fact that I watched the Pony Express doesn't mean I have some craving to put dead hookers in my trunk ala Craig James...

And you're right..not enough drama to make an ESPN doc on Florida...it gets boring just watching a team pile up the best win% in all of CFB over the last 22 seasons...hell...I was getting bored with all that winning myself..

Better get your lingerie football team of the field...my pop warner boys just slapped them silly too..

Oh look...another little girl emoticon...that's so sweet...

Wed, increase to 99%...just based on his prior history...

Wed, 26 Oct 2011 06:43:12 add that picking colors that are complementary provides high contrast...

This is especially important for school colors due to the fact that having two distinctly different colors provides the ability to often ensure you have a way to differentiate from your opponent...

For example, KY wears blue and white, thus UF fans normally will wear orange whenthe Gators are playing the Cats...

Re: quite done with you yet, son...

Bwahahaha...the best you can do is point to a guy that never played a meaningful snap of football?...The Rock...he had a great career as a professional rassler though...

Golden will be out of there the first chance he gets...Why?...Because Shalala and Co. weren't even ballsy enough to fill him in on what was going on witht the NCAA...that gives him a "Get out of Jail Free" card at any point he wants to terminate his contract...

Again with the "jock sniffer"?...Yet, you're one of those guys that never even stepped foot on the Coral Gables campus and continually swing on the sack of the program...Hows that frumunda cheese taste?

You do realize that the lowest two scores are dropped...so missing a week is inconsequential and has no bearing on your current position...Doubt who exactly won the the thing last year?...Go back and look it up...And I largely approached it this season just like last...Winning the FanBlogs pick'em isn't exactly on my Self Worth measurement list...that it's apparently on yours is a pretty sad statement in itself...

The only swinging from the mat that is happening is with my knees pinning your shoulders to it as I repeatedly slap you across the face...and if this has been your JV, I wouldn't bring the varsity because you'll go home sorely disappointed...

Your smack is weak at best and seriously could use some more work...unless the smack your talking about is you chewing with your mouth open as you eat crow...

Wed, 26 Oct 2011 06:33:08 surprised...perhaps there's a conspiracy theory in there too...

That was a nice try and all, but you really have to work on not being so hasty when you plagiarze things from the over a team at #4 certainly doesn't weigh as well when that team finishes the season unranked...which is what will be considered in theonly poll that matters...the final BCS...

our current system uses preseason polls to establish a baseline that the voters then use to value teams all through the season and into the final rankings

And THAT is exactly why they are useless...

Umm...yeah...again...there are more PAC games currently played on the Mouse's networks than SEC games...therefore they earn more from PAC games than SEC games...

BUt keep on believeing that there is some grand conspiracy to keep the SEC on top...because the last thing it could assuredly be is simply that they have had the best football teams in the country the last 5 seasons...

No need for you to dress up...we can already tell you're a with you just because you fire back and never take it seriously...

See that's the difference...Shapiro is a jock sniffer...he paid money to a school he never attended so he could be a big shot and get access to players...

I do it because I love my alama mater, the University of Florida...the access to players is extremely limited to boosters at UF and we all get bombarded with literature YEAR ROUND about complying with NCAA rules...at the Spring game, which is one of the few times boosters really get face time withthe players, we're given what my grandfather and his Legacy/Bull Gator buddies call "the speech"...you won't see Legacy donors and Bull Gators roaming the sidelines and the locker room...or celebrities hanging around at practice....the Compliance office has effectively made sure to keep tight controls on ALL things that are within the university's control...this is a key point in making sure that UF as an institutution stays the course and keeps itself out of trouble...We do it right and Miami, tOSU & USC could learn alot about how to maintain compliance from UF...

And those 9+ years are helping Miami how right now?...Those guys don't put any money back in...they can't play for Miami...they sure aren't attracting quality recruits by all appearances...and by the way...we're not talking about Miami right now...we're all laughing at Miami...

FYI...I WON the pick'em last season...and haven't really paid much attention to it past hastily making my picks this year on usually mOnday or Tuesday...but I see that you're picking of Miami has you a whole point ahead of me right now...still a long way to go...we'll see how it finishes up...
