Just ordered this updated dongle today as the original dongle added noise / hiss to my microphone recordings on my Pixel 2XL.
Do NOT go with the new Apple USB-C to Headphone Jack dongle because while audio playback is fine, recording with a mic or headphone mic does NOT work. Audio is garbled and shite.
You have been warned. :p

I'm with @scram ... I love the Nashville, and now really like the Georgia Gold.
But, and I never thought I'd say this, the chicken coating can be just a bit too crispy for me. I'm getting older, and the teeth aren't what they used to be, so the super crunchy coating can be hazardous. But the flavor of the Gold is a perfect sweet spot between tangy mustard bbq and spiciness.

Just had the Angriest Whopper today for lunch. It was actually enjoyable.

At it's core, it's still a Whopper - and that's a good burger. Add on the crunch and zest of the onion petals, the "angry sauce" (not enough), the nice thick bacon and the Whopper got elevated to a new level.

The Angry Red Bun was hearty, held up well, and had a pleasant spicy sauce flavor. Not disappointing at all.

The A Team at our local BK forgot the jalapeños, but I think it worked out better without the heavy, sharp jalapeño taste to muck things up.

I would order the Angriest Whopper again tomorrow for lunch.

We got the 8 piece tonight, and it was delicious. The staff took the time to shake the bottle of spicy oil (essentially the main ingredient in this dish) and squirted it all over the extra crispy chicken, making for a hot, spicy, and very flavorful batch of chicken.

Having never had "Nashville Hot Chicken", I was impressed. This is a winner for KFC.
As with all fast food chains, results vary from store to store.
If you're lucky to have a good store/staff near you, you'll be pleasantly surprised with this new offering.

A big thank you to Q for posting about this dish, and for the head's up on it's arrival.

(The pickles seem kinda silly, but I would miss them if they were left out.)

Good point to mention Max. The spicy flavored oil does separate with the spices on the bottom and the oil on top. Like a good salad dressing would do.
If the team at your KFC took the time to shake the bottle and turn the chicken parts over, they did it right.

We were disappointed in the smaller size of these wing parts, as compared to Popeye's full wing pieces.
Also, ours were a little too hard and crunchy for me, and the seasoning was just on one side, as you mentioned.
On the plus side, the sauce was good. :)
Would not buy these again. Thanks for the review!

Yea, they are small. But I think the nice marinara sauce makes them just a bit better than they are plain.

@bigsister86 I think they were delicious. Nice garlic flavor, crispy, and the tub of marinara sauce, while thick and tomato-y, was just right. The cheese had a nice bite to it too. You said "mushy cheese"? Not in my order. They were almost perfect.
I have to give kudos to McD for doing something right.
