That is my grandaughter and that was taken at her first Hoosier Hysteria. This year will be her second! The only two letters she can read are IU much to the chagrin of her "other" Pawpaw who is a Kentucky fan!!!

I guess I don't want one and done type players at IU. EJ was great. don't get me wrong, but I would rather have Coverdale, Suhr, Alford, etc. Guys who loved IU and still do. The one and done type players are a flash in the pan, out for their NBA stock but are they really there for the team and for IU? I'd rather have 10 Coverdales than 1 EJ. Amazing to watch, but more amazing to watch is a bunch of guys become a team, play hard and play for IU. One and done players are NBA bound, I would rather watch a 3 or 4 year player develop into that NBA player. Talent is a gift, but for the guy who goes to the draft as a junior or senior, he has work, dedication, pride and determination on his side.

Okay, I am sure that I am in the minority here with this thoughts on IU BB, but I don't have to have championships. I just love the whole season, the rival games, the hard won (or lost) games, the hustle of our players. I love to watch the players improve. I love to watch players who may not be the best talent, get out there and work their a** of for old IU. Yes, I love the championships, but it is icing on the cake. I love IU basketball for what it is. I am really looking forward to next season even though we might not have what would be called a winning season because these kids and Crean have a mission to rebuild. I believe these kids will play their heart out and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Question here that I hope someone can answer - In granting Crawford's release can we put limits on where he plays? Like no Big Ten teams or UDM for example or can he go anywhere he wants?

Very disappointed in this move. I really felt that Crawford had a bright future at IU. Good Luck to Crawford were ever he goes, but he would have been WORSHIPPED had he stayed and been part of the return of the HOOSIERS. We will be the "underdogs" all season and that will make what ever victories that come our way, that much sweeter.

GO HOOSIERS!!!!!!

I am just sooo ready for this to be over and for the Hoosier Nation to move forward. I also don't condone breaking rules whether they are the NCAA or otherwise but in "real life" there is a difference between murder and a parking ticket. It just appears that we are being upgraded to "felonies" over a bunch of parking tickets. Over 100 NCAA teams had phone call violations in the past year alone so that at least gives a hint at either the lack of concern of the rules by NCAA teams or the difficulty in staying within the expectations. All I ask is that the NCAA be consistent. If you are going to rake IU through the coals, then just make sure you hold all NCAA teams to the same line. I personally feel that IU is being hyped by the media due to our years of squeaky clean compliance and they can't wait to yell "Gotcha ya".
