I am working from home because one of my boys is home sick so its a very quiet day. Do you know if this freezes well (same question as Tanya)? My kids don't like lentils but this would be great to make and freeze so I can take it to work for lunches.

And Kelly - your little girl looks JUST LIKE YOU! What a sweetheart.

Re: Everything In 2010: Week 4

Hi Mandy - wanted to stop by and help test out your commenting. I also stopped by the community and noticed you hadn't customized your header yet. This is super easy to do. Just log in to your BlogFrog account, go to settings, and upload a header to match your blog. It will brand your community just like this blog. Nice to stop by your blog again. BTW, the hat is adorable - sure wish I could knit like that!

Holly (BlogFrog)

Re: Christmas Gift Quandary

How about two concert tickets to a show for one of his favorite country bands/singers. Even when written recipes are clear and concise, nothing beats a video to illustrate how to do it. That's why all those cooking and chef channels get such high ratings. Even if the video is just a short tip with you explaining some subtle trick, tip, or variation, I bet it would be popular with readers.

I found your blog through BlogFrog (and your tweets) - so nice to discover your blog!

Holly

Re: Pow! OMG - the positions these women can get into and how they extend their backs is just insane! It must be the equivalent of modern day Cirque Du Soleil. Anyway, it made me very aware of my age and one more thing I will never do in my lifetime (bend like that, and do brain surgery).

Re: John's Brush With...Uh...Greatness?

What a fun surprise - It should be fun to hang that picture in your kitchen somewhere :) I am visiting from TheBlogFrog and wanted to say welcome. I remember the catalog days - my favorite was the Sears Wish Book, the big one that came out before the holidays. LOVE the picture of you with the boots. At least Cheryl Tiegs was a bit more stable than some young Hollywood women these days.

Re: Chocolate Cake is Definitely Better in Bulk (giveaway!)

OK, I checked out all those yummy cakes and if one were to just magically appear on my doorstep, and happened to be the Tiramisu Classico Cake, I would drop everything and find the biggest fork I have (like that one we use to flip chicken on the grill). Yea, that's my favorite :)

Holly at TheBlogFrog

Re: Spending Time Together

Happy 11th birthday to your son.
